Personally, I think Zenith is most preferable. Very matured Bank

Zenith will always come first... Those guys know what's up with customer satisfaction.

Others should be: UBA, GTB, and First.

None! They're all thieves

Although firstbank paid me 4k on interest capitalized on 1.1m in 30 days. So even if they keep charging me, their interest will cover for it.
Banks don't charge on savings accounts. Personal experience though. I dropped 5m in zenith for about 2 yrs, got about 350k interest. So to me, zenith bank is reliable if you want interest.

Infact, the rate on current accounts is almost uniform across all banks. That is COT.

All banks operate under same CBN rules. However, they could vary the terms a little to become more competitive than the rest.

What’s your attraction for savings account? Most people will go for high interest rates. To get this high rates, some banks will request you maintain a certain daily minimum balance which could be as high as N1,000,000 or they could stipulate maximum number of times you could withdraw in a month.

Other savers could be looking for flexibility in the operation of the account like cheque book issuance, cheque lodgments into savings account, possibility of third party withdrawals, Internet banking operability, etc. So, know what you want and go for it.

But remember, Savings is a means to an end; it is not an end in itself. You need to channel the savings into a project or investment for higher returns.

We strongly recommend investment in Real Estate. You could start your journey to becoming a property owner with as little as N600k. Buy an asset not a liability!

Check my profile for offers. Flexible payment plans are also available.

I would say Ecobank, I receive credit alert from them on my savings account despite the fact that I hardly ever use the account.
My most active accounts are in Access bank which I have two accounts there.
I have never ever received any credit alert from Access bank..... Only debit. I was recently debited for the stamp duty charge three times and only credited back twice. I'm still waiting for my N50 balance.
Ecobank rarely debit my account.
THEY ARE JUST TOO USELESS

Leave that guy... Person go dey save money for Naija bank dey reason interest. Hehehehe. grin

That's like trying to fill up a well with water using a cup.

If you want to save, just save... If you are seriously looking for interest or returns, then better invest that money in a fast growing business or use trusted investment houses.

A lot of people are used to complaining about various commercial banks in Nigeria especially the low income earners as regards the dubious charges perpetrated by these Banks.

So I want to ask, which Bank is more considerate in terms of their charges for savings account currently?

Don't forget to tell us your reasons.

What of FCMB? Does anyone have any problem with them?

Zenith is good but also Sterling cos they pay monthly interest. Some Banks deduct charges from savings account.

Does Zenith pay monthly interest?
