I purchased this phone from SLOT online on the 17th of june, it was 3 days after paying that I was told the product has sold out.

Now slot is promising to deliver after receipt of new order. I am very pissed with the situation. If they don't have the phone why can't they just process my refund, instead of frustrating me. I feel they deliberately listed the phone on their website without having it in stock. Now no phone and my money is still with them. Their representative is no longer picking my calls.

I don't even know how long I have to wait for the new order. What kind of country is this?

Thanks, what is the essence going to their outlet when I bought online and have paid for delivery, besides, I understand some of their outlets are franchise and cannot do much

Is there any representative from Slot on Nairaland? Please get to whoever is concerned, I need my refund, I have reached out on mails and called, my complaint has gotten to their customer service team, yet they are ignoring me

Make I just give you two options.

1. Twitter option.
You fit enter Twitter tag them say them collect ur money and them no wan deliver. If they can't deliver or are out of stock, the reasonable thing to do is to ask you if you want a refund or you want to wait. But like you said... It's like they were out of stock before you made payment.

2. Lawyer option.
Get a lawyer friend to officially write them to refund your money or get sued for deliberately trying to defraud you. (OP this option na last resort o when all other options have been exhausted).

Tagging them on twitter is the surest option.

Twitter is no respecter of persons and the whole world is listening.

Sure they won't savour negative publicity at all.

dont mind what these people are saying.. What's the essence of going to a retail store when they would to refer u to the online care Rep. If u had gone to a store to make the order.. understandable
best u do is wait, Honestly, keep in touch always with their care Rep. and always save the details of your conversation too.. u will get ur phone

Thanks for your response, inhave attached an email response from them confirming they don't have the phone in stock at the moment.

that's how they do.. all of them.. you all are much in this.. and don't just tweet at them.. go under their comment section and lay your complaints

Had same issue when I ordered the redmi on slot online. They didn't have it in stock and have since refunded my money.

Forget about making unnecessary fuss online, here's how you go about it.

They sent u a confirmation mail after placing the order which was sent from sales@slot.com or something similar.
So respond to that email and attach your account details and order number asking for a refund since the item is out of stock. Also let em know you got a call from their customer care rep.

They'll respond, letting you know they've received your account details and that it'll take about 7 days or so to process.

I received my refund 48 hours later with the tp.
This life no too hard like that
