*Let Me Ask You...* How would you feel if you have a system that makes money for you even while you sleep and when you are on vacation? How would you feel if you can setup the same business for your family memebers who are in need of money and make them enjoy the financial freedom that comes from this business idea? This is a business that let's you use the power of leverage in making money from the ever growing population of people by providing a solution to their problem. |

Every body is now a motivational speaker, talking nonsense and lies to get people to become marketers of one drug that can cure all sickness, or join one business that will make you richer than Ifeanyi uba within one year, I want to ask are you people insane? Criminals everywhere if MMM didn't teach you a lesson then you will never learn. 3 Likes |

dmercy141983: My brother, you just said what is in my mind. This is what I have been telling people, the poverty situation of this Country has made everybody become motivational speakers. Everywhere you go to, they're there; turn on your radio, they're there shouting: "come and make money while at home", "you can be a billionaire in one month" and all many of nonsense. One of them came to me one day and was telling me about how he has left his job and would soon have a car through Forex trade. And I was like how would you leave your job because Forex trade? I said to him go, when you buy the car, tell me, then I can join you. Till today no car and he's still there. But I have bought a car already. Our people don't want to use their brain at all. How can someone think he could become rich through ponzi scheme or money doubling business? Only in Nigeria would you see such businesses everywhere, even after MMM dealt with them, yet they haven't learnt anything. 2 Likes |

BREAKING NEWS: WAEC Examinations To Commence August 4th - Education Minister The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been scheduled to commence in August. The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, announced this on Monday at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja. He said, “From the 4th of August to the 5th of September, please take note. Last week the Chairman of the PTF announced that school facilities will be available for those who want to go into revision classes. “The idea here is that we have a whole month from now till then, those who can and those who are willing; the states who are willing should make their schools available for their children to revise. “We have done the most we can with our representatives at WAEC and we have, this afternoon, confirmed that the dates allotted for the exams will be from the 4th of August through to the 5th of September,” the minister added. According to him, the ministry will publish the local timings for the examinations after a meeting with authorities of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), among other stakeholders. Nwajiuba disclosed that as soon as WAEC examinations were concluded, the government would take up the National Examination Council (NECO) and the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) examinations. WASSCE is a standardised test conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for senior secondary school students in the graduating class. Source: CHANNELS NEWS |

BREAKING: WAEC can’t determine when schools will reopen — FG ON JULY 8, 20206:03 PMIN NEWS By Johnbosco Agbakwuru ABUJA — MINISTER of Education, Adamu Adamu, has said that Nigerian schools will not reopen any time soon until it is safe to do so because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has therefore said that final year students preparing for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) will not be allowed to return to school contrary to what had earlier been believed. Addressing State House correspondents after the virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in Abuja on Wednesday, Adamu stated that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) cannot determine the resumption date of schools for Nigeria. READ ALSO: COVID-19: Trump threatens to cut federal aid if schools don’t reopen He said he would prefer that Nigerian students lose an academic year than to expose them to dangers. He appealed to States that have announced the resumption of school in their states to reconsider their position so as not to jeopardize the lives of the students, adding, “It is not safe to reopen schools now.” Details later… |

UPDATED: No WAEC this year, Nigerian govt declares by RAYYAN ALHASSAN July 8, 2020 The Federal Government has declared that final year students won’t participate in the forthcoming West African Examination Council, WAEC, examinations. The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, made the disclosure while speaking with State House Correspondents shortly after the week’s virtual Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting. According to the minister, schools may not resume any time soon, saying that it is preferable for the students to lose an academic year than to be exposed to COVID-19. He, therefore, urged state governments that had announced school resumption plans to rescind such decision. Mr Adamu said the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, was misquoted when he spoke on the matter during a Presidential Task Force Briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday. Mr Nwajiuba was reported to have announced that school facilities would be made available for revision classes ahead of the examination which commence from Aug. 4 through Sept. 5, and called on parents to take note of the date. However, according to Adamu, the Federal Government’s schools will not reopen any time soon until it is safe to do so because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Schools under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Education will not reopen on Aug. 4 or any time soon. “Our schools will only open when we believe it is safe for our children and that is when the situation is right, not when the number of COVID-19 infection is going up in the nation. “So, I just want to make that clear. “We will not reopen schools now for examinations or any other reason unless it is safe for our students; even WAEC because WAEC cannot determine for us what we do. So schools will remain closed. The minister frowned at the way and manner WAEC was handling the issue of the examination timetable, saying the ministry of education was consulted before the announcement of the new date for the exams. He, therefore, emphasised that no school would participate in the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations earlier scheduled for between Aug.4 and Sept. 5. “Yesterday we called a meeting of stakeholders to tell us their situation and what needs to be done in order to reopen schools but while the meeting was going on, WAEC announced that they will start exams. “So let’s see who they are going to start with,” he said. “I feel responsible for the whole children in Nigeria not just those in Federal government-controlled schools. Please let’s save our children from this. “You can look at this scenario; just one infected child going into a class, can infect everyone in the class and after classes they go back to the hostel; because children cannot observe social distancing as expected. "If one child in the hostel is infected, the next morning everybody will be infected so this is not the right time to open schools,’’ he said. He, therefore, maintained that final year students preparing for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, SSCE, would not be allowed to return to school contrary to earlier announcement. |
