Red-hot Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has sealed a €70m move from Lille to Napoli.

Osimhen’s deal is worth €80m of which €70m will be paid over five years and €10m in bonuses related to results. He is now the most expensive Nigerian player.

Osimhen was in Italy specifically on a familiarisation visit to his prospective new club, according to a report.

The report had it that OSC Lille owner, Gérard Lopez has made up his mind to sell the Nigerian to his bosom friend who owns Napoli.

“Lille wants him to get used to the environment. Victor is not in Italy to sign any deal.

“We spoke for several hours last night and he told me everything about the deal. He (Osimhen) knows what is good for him, so we are not losing any sleep over the likely transfer to Napoli,” the player’s brother, Andrew told Daily SunSports in a telephone chat.

that's good, i hope he justify that paycheck because napoli is an attacking minded team and gat attackers dt can purnish teams on a good day, the likes of martens, milik, insigne and lozano would be happy in having oshimhen because he is a goal poacher but not dt proven and i hope he follows d lead of cavani and higuain heroics in naples and dnt ends a flop there because he wud surely gets enough matches going by the transfer fee and naples dnt av a real striker bt just deadly attackers... goodluck oshim.
