How old are the children?
Will you be staying with them?
What else will you be needing after accommodation?

You can only renew ur childs passport in Nigeria... Passport cannot be issued for the firt time to a minor in Nigeria, I had a friend who experienced this in 2015... Just to be sure check the Embassy website for Nigeria and see what they say...

JUST to chip in, you need to make the application before the child gets older than 1yr, that is likely what happened to your friend.
as stated on US embassy website as well

Do it and your children will go to the shelter without you if you tell you can't support them. You, as a foreigner, will be deported back to your country fast and lose your children forever. No accommodation or any help for foreigners. If you insist, you get the accommodation in Immigration jail and you will be send back to your country, your own country should provide any help for you. Nowadays even the legal residents are afraid to apply for any government help because later they are denied the citizenship.

BTW, if you as a tourist overstay your visa and intend to live in US, be sure to have enough money to provide your children good life and to send them to school. If the authorities or neighbors see not suitable living conditions, your children will be taken by Social Services, you can't claim them back because you are NOT a legal resident, you say 1 word, jail and deportation, now with new rules it's fast, deportation express.

Hmmm, teenagers, students, young adults ... then why the tourist mother is asking about accommodation? Pay and accommodate your kids. Why do you think they are entitled to American government help? It's their mother, poor, disabled and an American citizen who can't support her children? If kids are minors, they can be taken by Social Services if the mother / parents are not making the effort to provide them. Do you think just because you came to give a birth here, you will get a free life for yourself as a mother?
Some people just don't want to hear the truth. America is tough, it's not what you see in the movies.

Post application or apply in person for it at the embassy when you have bought your ticket.

Hello,

Have you gotten a response for the ETC, as I am told the Embassy/Consulate is not opened at the moment, what is the plan for those flying on Friday.

Thanks

Everywhere is tough. Living in this world itself is tough! People ask questions without providing background info. That does not mean people have to assume or conclude! Besides, your “talk” does not count. Even if they collect her children, are they your children?

The children are Americans, meaning all Americans children including mine. We pay taxes to provide schools, roads, health care etc. and if they go to Social Services, our taxes pay for their food and living. Why should I pay for a Nigerian visitor (a foreign mother, an adult) living? If her kids need help, leave them here and you go back to your country or this lady should work hard and give to her children a decent life as we all do.

Why are you so assuming. The person who asked the question didn't say if she is Nigerian or not and you just concluded she is. You can't even hide your bitterness. Again, she didn't say if she wanted free accommodation and yet again you conclude. I think there is a problem with you understanding questions posed. Even your written English is difficult to understand and you are there dissing Nigerians. Ogbeni sumo!

LOL! Why are you so bitter? Trying to get by force in my country? Or wishing we pay the B1/B2 visa foreigner living in America? Go claim your rights in you country. Good luck. You make me laugh.

Thinking ... I need to run to get Nigerian visa and travel from America to learn proper correct Nigerian English. grin

Very funny! A butterfly thinks itself a bird! Trying too hard at sarcasm but unfortunately you fail at it. I won't dignify your post further. However, kindly allow people to seek the answers they need from here without getting bullied. This place existed before you got here and will survive you. Gracias!

You may need to shed more light on your question to enable good people give you the needed answers. The accommodation you inquired about is it to buy a house in their name, or to lease a house in their name. Do you intend that they stay in the accommodation on their own? Do you intend to stay with them? How old are your children

Actually that was not what i meant, the lack of empathy in your post worries me especially in this time of pandemic .

People are stranded, in most cases with no money, no help but all you care about is your precious America.

Many of you MAGA hats( which i think you are) need to slow down with your hate filled attitude.

No humor here.

Huh what race? Can you tell me the relationship between wearing a red hat with "meaning(less)" words and hate?

How did you come up with that conclusion? Read your original post again and take a second to think, just maybe you will come up with more stuff to help you better understand that comment was very inappropriate.
