How I missed this thread I don’t know. For sure it’s not because I never Kazeemize. In fact the true definition of an Autoist like me is the ability to get home with the vehicle at all cost.

I have many to share once I load my USA hard drive but allow me to just drop this gem.

I removed a bad factory Subaru side draft carburator and replaced it with a Peugeot downdraft carburator. This worked but ended up being too tall and stuck out into the trunk. So I improvised a cover.

So after years of this practice, I finally picked up a pack of oil drain plug washers. Got it just before the lockdown ish...

One trick I use is to heat up the washer before reusing. I try to use only copper though.

One of these two is what you need off you must absolutely be tired of taking the nut off.

Me I prefer to take off the nut, make sure it's a magnetic one.

Once the wise ones, spot this on the floormat, the culprit is clear, no need to run diagnosis. Funny enough, had this recently during this lockdown ish. With limited opening of car parts markets, I just stuck a small bolt there. All good. Will replace later.

Had a nightmare with this on my tiny light camry. Tried using slippers that i cut tied with thread and fishing through the whole. But the thread kept cutting cry

. Final solution was to push back the tip of the switch and forced in a bolt in the hole. Problem solved. Car has been sold now sha sad

. I miss that camry

The ECU comes from the factory with certain empty slots, this knowledge is also useful for fixing cases of destroyed ECU wires or wires cut too short by thoughtless techies
