Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sports about the VAR decision to not award his side a goal: "I cant say what I think, I would be in trouble. I would be suspended and I don't want to be. "The one here is not the referee. The referee is hidden in some office. The man on the pitch pitch is not the referee, he does not make the decisions. I don't speak with the assistant referee - who is the one on the pitch. "It is not how I feel, it is the reality. The linesman makes a decision but of course technology makes the decision in the office where they are. Decisions on penalties, handballs, free kicks, It is not made by the referee on the pitch. The referee on the pitch is not the referee. "I want to be on the bench in the next game. I don't want to be involved in any process, so lets move in another direction." #BBCSPORTS |

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho says his side were "not mentally strong enough" in their 3-1 Premier League defeat by Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. "I think that moment is game over," says Mourinho. "I think in the second half my players were not mentally strong enough to cope with that disappointment and they have to be. "I am not just going to say that goal is the cause of everything. It would be very easy for me to do that but I don't want to go in that direction. I have to say that mentally we were not strong enough. "In the second half we tried but we didn't try with that conviction, that belief that we would change the game and we still had 45 minutes to change the game." |

Jude Bellingham has chosen Dortmund over United, largely down to fact he wants first team game time - but also because he has been watching Sancho’s progress closely |

Fair enough from Bellingham, he would have found game time hard to come by here. |

Lana1:We also have kept the second most clean sheets in Europe. PSG is first. We will probably finish the season with the most clean sheets in Europe since Ligue 1 has been canceled |

Leyqute:Expensive IMO..doesn't really get save points and not bonus friendly..if you want a united defensive asset, awb is preferable |

handelex:Phil Foden, Sancho, and Brahim Diaz used to show their opponents pepper when they were in the youth team. Chelsea had Hudson-Odoi, Liverpool had Brewster and Woodburn, United had Gomes and Chong, but City had 3 potential world beaters disgracing defenders week in week out. |

dubylhover:Pope, Dubravka, Ryan for save points and bonus. I've been shuttling between Pope and Ryan(depending on their opponent) for the better part of this season. |

Ighalo: "We have a good squad with good lads and good players, who are ready to work to give everything they have for the team. So it’s a privilege for me to join them, to play with these great lads – the young ones, the mature ones." - United Review |

Ighalo: "I think I bring different things to the strikers we have. I can play with my back to goal, I can keep the ball. I’m strong so it’s different, you know, and for the different games, we play different patterns and with different strategies." - United Review |

handelex:Brahim Diaz? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 8:05am On Jul 03, 2020 |
handelex:Brahim Diaz was tricky like Sancho but not as fast and not as instinctive in his dribbling. Foden was the one already playing with the game awareness and maturity of a seasoned pro hence the hype. Diaz IMO was and is still a step below. |

afrodoc:Man Utd must learn how to tie this youth players on big contract or learn the model from Chelsea, we cant be losing potential world class players on free transfer. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by BARAJ92(m): 9:03am On Jul 03, 2020 |
eph12:Am not that confident on that, we have lost more games to smaller team and also when the team is on a good run |

BARAJ92:The only person that has left recently is Gomes, and there are possible explanations for him leaving. Chelshit has not gained anything on the pitch from their model. It can be argued that they have wrecked close to a dozen potential world class talents. They won the FA Youth Cup for 5 straight years and have little to show for it in the senior team. And tying down unproven youth players with big contract is exactly what we should not do. See as that Chelshit Owusu-Abeyie played a fast one on his club. 1 goal in 29 matches and he is on 120k per week. Criminal! That is why his friend Gomes rejected Man Utd's offer of 25k per week. Meanwhile Mason Greenwood who is a better player than them right now and a better prospect overall is on 25k per week. |
