The attribute of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy and God's attribute is to save. It will interest you to know that God has never kill before, He doesn't kill, as a matter of fact, He does not have the capacity to kill. How do I know this? Jesus Christ is the express image of God, what Christ did not do, God does not do as well. One of the reasons Christ came was to correct the wrong perception humans had about God. Humans attributed many of what they don't understand to God, therefore, God sent Christ to correct such impression and define His true identity. That's why in the mount of transfiguration Elijah, Moses appeared, when the disciples when to build an alter for the three of them, Elijah & Moses disappear and a voice from heaven says "This is my beloved son, listen to Him" meaning whatever Jesus says about who God is supersedes every other previous writing. God is absolutely good, His mission from before time begin is to save and He has never change.
