You can tell him (Righteousness89) that again... so-called Christians who pick one part of scripture and focus on it but ignore the other parts of scripture that prove them wrong. Did Romans 13 not tell us to obey those in authority because God allowed them to be there? Did Jesus Himself not tell the Pharisees to give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar?
The only premise on which a Christian should oppose the government is when the government tells you to do what opposes what God has said - like don't preach the gospel again; don't mention the name of God again like the Pharisees told the disciples & they refused; bow before a strange god like Nebuchadnezzar told Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego and they refused; etc.

NCDC has not told us not to preach, or worship God, or bow before a strange god, etc..all they said is religious centres can't open because of virus transmission issues, but rather worship and pray to your God at home. How is that evil? Even some prominent men of God have decided not to open their churches until things die down, is that wrong?
Personally, worshipping and praying to God at home has helped me in my communication and relationship with God. In the course of these past 3 months, God has instructed me on areas of ministry that He wants me to carry out and I have started. If I were busy with church as a leader that I am and other secular activities, I would never have heard God speak to me.

For me, I am a Christian, and will stand by what the Bible as a whole says - obey those in authority.
Mind you, some of the people forming Holier-than-thou here and saying they will not obey the government & church should reopen may be sinning against God in other aspects...how many of them pay their tax, or even their tithe, how many love their neighbor as themselves?? Like my pastor would say, There will be surprises on the day of judgment!
