She's not destroyed.

She can bounce back from this as long as she apologizes & owns up to her actions.
or she will just go into full time scammer work since she'll still be running with the same circle of Lekki yahoo boys boyfriends / besties / friends that are giving her enjoyment and flexing. That's the root of her problem not apology.

Imagine if Hushpuppy nd woodberry were extradited to Nigeria.. That's how they will be doing radarada.... You will arrest someone with shallow evidence.. Hoping to start investigation after arrest... Thereby turning the case into joke and granting bail to the criminal to destroy evidence... Our security agency needs serious training on investigation and arrest

Very trivial Charge. The EFCC should have added the intent of the document in the charge. I cringe at the activities and supposed integrity of the Anti-corruption body. "He who come to equity comes to Clean hand " does not apply to them.
To you they seem trivial but to the law they are not.
Intent alone is enough.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arraigned a self-acclaimed social media influencer, Adedamola Adewale Rukayat (a.k.a Adeherself) before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Special Offence Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on one-count charge of possession of fraudulent documents.

The defendant was arrested following intelligence received by the Commission on the activities of some young men allegedly involved in internet fraud in the Lekki axis of Lagos State.

The count read: “That you, Adewale Adedamola Rukayat, on or about the 15th day of June, 2020 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, with intent to defraud, had in your possession documents titled “WhatsAPP”, which representations you knew or ought to have known, was false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 6 (cool (b) and 1 (3) (d) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14 of 2006.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge.

In view of her plea, prosecution counsel, S.O. Daji, asked the court for a trial date and also prayed that she be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCS.

The defence counsel informed the court of a bail application for his client and also prayed for a short date to enable its hearing.

Justice Solebo adjourned the matter to July 13, 2020 for hearing of the bail application and also ordered the defendant to be remanded in the EFCC custody.

You don't understand. Intent to do what? Didn't they do investigation at all? They should give us details and not rushing to court and eventually bungling the case, like they always do.

Mehn! You are so right. If I should start counting how many people have been wounded by Naija scammers, damn! Ha! Person go apologize and get tired of doing it oo. Chai! Naija! I can never insult any foreigner again with these revelations. See eh! As long as I carry this useless Naija green passport, if they naked person and make dog to start smelling one, they are justified. Cos this is just out of hand. Our politicians are so useless, and f.oolish Nigerians vote idi.ots in again and again. We keep laughing at ourselves and make jokes with these issues while the rest of the world pities us how messed up we are. Now, we know why Trump called Nigeria a sh.ithole. I insulted a lady who said my fellow Nigerians call Nigeria a shi.thole, but I have accepted the bittered truth. Nigeria is a first class shi.thole.

You're comment is either out of ignorance or mischieve. Both the Criminal Law of Lagos State and the Advanced Fee Fraud Act under which a prosecution for possession of fraudulent document can be commenced, the prosecution does not need to prove the intent of the document, the law presumes it, once the content is false. What the relevant sections require is only possession, not even that it was sent to another party. Please get this this right before commenting.
