if ordinary CNN charges $3m for 30sec ad , dude do you have an idea how much it will cost to hire a PR Firm to contest an international position as such?

A 30-second ad in CNN's primetime programs has over the last few months cost between $7,000 and $12,000, according to SQAD MediaCosts.

Another format embarassed. You all are not different from Hushpuppi. GEJ had no shoes, PMB couldn't afford the N25m APC's presidential form and had to take loan from the bank, this is somebody whose children were studying in expensive schools abroad. This is not a Nigerian election, it involves other countries whose citizens are not as gullible as most Nigerians. Madam NOI was the only minister that insisted that she MUST be paid in dollars during her time as minister under OBJ and GEJ. Madam NOI, please go and bring out money from where u have been hiding them and hire PR team(s), we are tired of financing the expensive lifestyles of yours, APC and PDP politicians.

That payment in dollars is what NLC should consider and implement since the naira is now falling under the anointing.

dude what you stated is just on a primeTime program and not a 24Hr program 24/7 which will run for months. So information provided on Quora is limited to the situation here

It's actually $50bn for 30 sec! Average costs for 30-sec ads are around $7,000.

This cost is nothing to the Former Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Economic Team of the best economy in Africa when oil sells above $100 per barrel and we spent and shared everything saving no kobo but borrowed to augment the spending. Peter Obi alone can finance that PR.

It cost a lot but certainly not up to $5m or $3m you quoted on your posts. Even American based companies won't be able to afford such advert rates. How many brands or businesses are even worth up to $5m that they will now use such huge amount to promote?
it actually cost more than that, way more than that,I use to work for a company In Greenford West london ,the build the internals of fighter jets and nimroid systems,to advertise than on CNN for 30 secs was $1,2m this was 2002.She would be advertising globally across all continent, it won't be local content as per the $7k someone upstairs was quoting

It wud take a very expensive pr firm to do the right job for her. I guess that’s why she’s saying so. It’s a global position. She wud need more help even if she had just any good pr firm.

Shut up and read with your senses awake, not asleep. Go back and understand what that dude wrote. Your response is emotional and off point! He did not criticise her. He only stated the simple fact that she is a liar for claiming that she cannot afford a PR campaign.

What are the three main functions of World Trade Organization?

The main functions of the WTO are:
Administering WTO trade agreements.
Providing forum for trade negotiations.
Handling trade disputes.
Monitoring Members' trade policies.
Providing technical assistance and training to developing and least developed economies.
Cooperating with other international organizations.

You will go very very far.

You understand how this world works

Focusmind:
don't worry, I will volunteer. I am trying to sign up. I hope I would be allowed to come and do internship in WTO.

I am looking for a way to sign in. That is the way it starts. Most politicians and leaders of multilateral agencies does that as well. They always have volunteers to campaign for them and at the end, there are some non monetary benefits like exposure, getting information regarding the agency and the candidate, getting to know the contestant very well and having the person as a mentor.

People may crticise it but it pays. I know one guy that was part of Atiku's media campaign online. He was able to meet Atiku one on one later. Finally, Atiku's name was included in one of his proposals as a referee and the contractor called him. The fact that he knew Atiku somehow made him relevant among other proposals

So campaigning for high-profile candidate is not bad at all but try and make yourself visible. All na part of networking.

At the global stage you don't expect people to fund their elections out of pocket. Direct monetary rewards from occupying such a position may not be able to offset the cost of funding such campaigns. Its not like Nigerian politics where politicians make huge returns from their investment by dipping their hands into the treasury.
