And who is suppose to do checks and balancing to ensure that money it releases to any institution in the country is judiciously used for it's purpose and properly accounted for?

Who is supposed to ensure that there is clear and concrete value for every money it sends to any institution in the country?

The government of any country is to be blamed for any rot in any of it's institutions...if any institution is not doing well or showing justifiable money spending, it is the duty of the government to swing into action and investigate, sack, jail or prosecute any one found guilty of the rot and reappoint another. Is that not why we have ministers, legislatures with oversight functions of various institutions, commissioners, EFCC, ICPC etc?
The VCs and co stealing in the school are only doing so and getting away with it because the government has failed in it's duty.
Anyways, the so called government is busy looting their own so they don't have time to check others...thief no dey check thief.

They never said the papers were invalid, what they're saying is that those paper comes with terms and conditions, one of the most important conditions is that the student must attend a school physically and not remotely. They do make exceptions for one online class per semester but you cannot take majority of your classes online. The problem here is that my people once again FAILED to READ!

The problem here is that the US government declares that all foreign students whose institutions are going online will be required to leave the US. The visa was conditional on attending classes in person, since that's no longer attainable even the option of remaining in the US to study online is not an option else the declaration would not have been made. Therefore the initial visa will be rendered invalid thus requiring the foreign students to leave.

However you slice it or dice it, that's the whole point.

Reall? do you know what ASUU stands for at all? Abi U attended almajiri university. VC and Rectors are they members of ASUU? ASUU are lecturers- classroom teachers. VC and Rectors are non-academic staff. They are the school managers. How can ASUU embezzle money when its de non-academics that run de show?

Lol. Nigeria is not even among the top 10 nations that their citizens are on student visa in the US. We need complete overhaul of our educational sectors. Most of the PhD and Prof in our uni are just paper tigers who shouldn't be in the business of lecturing. Don't be deceived, those titles are padi padi things in the uni now, they are mostly not earned.

Just imagine, Unilorin VC stopped on going exams just to join ASUU strike. A school that doesn't go on mass strike before.

I even thought maybe because they didn't pay them but to my surprise those hippopotamus stopped their students from rounding up their exams because of ordinary incentives when their salaries are not tampered with... To make the matter worse corona and IPP joined. All that aside, lecturers would molest female students and make life a hell for male or female students just because they have the power to do so, the entire ASUU is guilty of these.

ASUU are bunch of jokers while our government are bunch comedians.
