Opsycal: I don't take medication for migraines tho. I just stay in a dark room, no noise, no lights, no phones and put a wet clothes over my eyes and sleep it off...but thankfully I've not had any so far during pregnancy. But if yours frequent, take pcm.. acetaminophen is safe in pregnancy 1 Like |

I could remember my sister in law coming to stay in my house because our close is closer to her school then. She was pregnant too. during I stay I had an argument with hubby, and she knew. Before I knew what happen she stated taking money from her brother to cook. I didn't say a word to her. I just make sure to cook and eat all at once, I cook only what I can eat and not remain, I have her a dose of her pills, by letting her have the kitchen to herself. she called me and ask what happened, I told her point straight, I can't come to your house and meet you and your husband having a quarrel then take over the cooking in the house, I can't even enter your kitchen not to talk of your pot without your approval. Every home has a rule, I think it is high time we wives know the home is ours, if I left my father's house to marry, should I still be a stranger. And that statement of my brother's house can so annoy me, your brother should have stayed alone nao or marry his own sister, so you won't have to drag who owns the house. I do not have a sister in law that will want to bring a man into my home, but that act alone is bad. so many of us would have done more than slap sef. 26 Likes 1 Share |

bimberry1307: By His Grace, I'm fine. Been visiting the loo uncountable times(morning till night) yesterday and it was watery poo(TMI) aka diarrhoea which later made me weak and dizzy. Contraction was hitting me but I knew it was false labor although I didn't time ⌚ it. Everybody was telling me to go to the hospital, I should not birth at home but I knew heading to hospital means induction and I'm mentally not prepared for it. If I bend, wahala, I tried walking up and down on the stairs but my legs were too heavy for me to lift. I slept off, woke up this morning was as if nothing happened yesterday. 37wks5days and baby's weight according to scan is 3.2kg. It'll surely end in praise. Hope you're good too 8 Likes |

Good morning mamas, pls let me still post this here so experienced mama can help me out. Pls my 1month old baby makes this sound that sounds like she is snoring, initially she was throwing out food from both nose and mouth and I took her to the hospital where they gave me erythrokid (Erythromycin) and it reduced but I still notice that she makes this sound like she is snoring or having dried cough which makes her so uncomfortable. pls has any mama experienced this and what do I do cos I get to situp every night just to watch her breathing. |

ifeoluwatoyin2: As long as Dr doesn't advise against it, you're fine. Your babies are far from where the pen..is can reach or hurt them but that is not to say you should engage in all the snake in the monkey shadow style o, lol. The body weakness you feel might be due to reluctance. Let me just drop this here. Not trying to make a general statement but I've seen a lot of marriages hit rocks during pregnancy and it could be due to many reasons. 1. The husband doesn't understand how not herself the woman feels. Pregnancy hormones make you feel lethargic. Slows you down to reduce your activities all in a bid to keep your baby safe. But you as the woman, should strive to still maintain some part of yourself so that you won't lose yourself totally. Pregnancy wants you to sleep all day but as a person, you should be able to control it to an extent. Same with temper. Ha! Pregnancy temper especially in 3rd trimester is maddddd ó! So please put it at a corner of your mind when you want to flare up that this isn't your true reaction. Calm down and don't let pregnancy mess with your head. 2. Sex Pregnancy can dampen or increase your libido. Some have the best time of their sexx life in pregnancy, while some have zero interest in it. This is where tolerance comes in. You cannot say just because you don't have interest, your spouse will also abstain for however long it lasts. Some men will cope just fine but some will struggle. Some will struggle but stay true to you by sorting themselves out while some will struggle but fall into temptation. Some will fall into temptation and come back to you after baby is born while some will fall into temptation and never be the same man you married. Before you come for my head, know this: Nigerian women will hardly divorce a man for cheating on them.YES! Instead, they will become bitter/submissive all in a bid to 'win' him back. Some of you will think, oh, I'm having his first child, he dare not act anyhow. Trust me when I say, the novelty will wash off ó!!!! Woman, be wise. I'm not saying do it against your wish. I'm not saying do it even if the Dr says no. I'm saying if you've got what he wants, give him if you can. Look at it a being responsible for each other's sexual satisfaction. I'm responsible for his and he is responsible for mine. So no matter what the situation is, we both have to device means within these 40 weeks to make it work for us. You can make him understand by taking him to the hospital with you so the Dr sees you both and advises you both (the day my husband went to ANC and saw women in worse condition ehn, he was sober for a long time), you can get him pregnancy books so that he can monitor the pregnancy with you, or download the app for him so he gets notifications just like you do. ( I once saw a man diligently reading on baby centre and smiling all through the bus ride). It makes him feel included and tempers him down. Imagine getting a message that you'll most likely be feeling frustrated or pain in your pelvis....he will certainly be able to understand when you say you cannot lift your leg. Try to show up when it comes to sex, please. I won't lie, in pregnancy, I just do it for doing sake sometimes (please raise your hand if you've never done it for doing sake  ).Even if Dr says it's not safe, you can engage in other forms of sex. (oral, dry humping, hand job or the one that reigned one time here (using breast or even using intimacy gadgets) Trust me when I say that I've seen too many marriages hit the rock (some survived) during pregnancy (which should be the happiest months cos of the baby!) Goldenheart002: Dunno you're Aug. Even now my tummy is strong like baby is pushing it and a lil pain in my pelvic bone but it'll release after some min. I still poo watery poopoo and is as if my bum bum is stretching(TMI), no pains. Just a swift waist pain, nobody shuu tell me is labor oo  My hubz is not even around. Assuming I went to hospital yesterday, they must induce me and I'm not prepared yet. My doc told me anytime that I'm ready, I should come. If it persist maybe till night, I'll kukuma go although no sign yet. I don't know what to expect as a stm, I've never fallen into labor on my own. Just sign, paaam I'm induced.
