Collection of individual documents at the DSS HQ in Ondo State officially ended at 6pm yesterday. Though some where given a final grace of submitting theirs today, but that was after much pleading. We're told that the exams will take place by tomorrow.

you're very correct. Guys did exam today in the afternoon at their Ibadan office.


NB: I didn't apply for the job but a friend that went to DSS office today to submit his application told me this. He wasn't allowed to write the exam too as they told him that the exam was already in progress

Just a random thought of the situation in the country, that was why I said it might not hold anytime soon.

Pleas! there is a circular encouraging fg staff in ministry to apply for conversion as planning officer in head of service and those eligible are those officer on grade level 8 - 14. I don't know if any one on this platform has heard that.

Please is it possible for one without recommendation letter to submit CV at NCC?

And what if being submitted, received and stamped, is there hope for such person?

Pls I learnt NIRSAL is accepting applications. If you are aware of the mail to send the CV to, pls can you assist with this.

One thing about NIA is they dont just take just anyone just like that. If you want to follow backdoor, then that person must be veeeery influential and powerful. Also, they dont recruit large amount of people, just a handful of people. So slots might be quite limited. Although, its never a bad idea to try your luck.

Yes, the circular was passed to every MDAs.

Last time I was there, NCC was not accepting CVs. Your luck I guess. And I know people with recommendations from senators who were rejected. She may forward to HR

Will there be hope if it gets to the hr will there still be hope?? Maybe when hr sees there's no recommendation letter?

42 persons were issued appointment letters for FIRS 2 weeks ago, most of whom were lawyers. They were given the job as compensation after the lockdown affected payments meant to be made to them. They worked with an NGO or something of that nature and were not paid. My friend was one and his title is Assistant Manager (something like this).

So jobs are flying about, whomever wants to help will help.

Just a way to discharge you. They don't want to turn a recommendation letter down , so they had no option then to accept it. Talking from experience, though not NCC.

No recommendation letter, that means something is either going on or about to, if not they would have told you. All the best sha. Once in a while you go and ask after your application.
