Is it new? I mean did you buy it new yourself? I equally use a redmi note 8 and my data is always on and I use my phone alot. My battery last the whole day, sometimes to the next day. I rarely charge it twice a day...

I did experience the same when i bought my RN8. But i switched to eu rom..now i get more than 10hours SOT. You can download the last stable version of miui 11 of eu rom on xiaomi.eu. It has the best battery backup so far.
Ok bro I can try that out as soon as possible, thanks

Remove it and do scan for errors and fix using a PC. Follow this procedure out you don't know how to:

Connect to your PC > Open My Computer > Right Click on the Storage > Properties > Tools > Check > Scan and repair drive > Fix (if found any error). This won't format the card but only to fix the errors (if any).

What kinda card are you using? You may send a pic of it if possible.

Lastly, always use the safe eject feature of your device or switch the phone OFF each time you want to eject the SIM tray. It's very important to avoid R/W errors.
I don't have a PC. Any other way to fix it? Thanks.

The sd card is in my phone.
This is the card reader of the card:

Well... I've been using RN8 since November last year and the battery still squeezing out 8-10hours depending on what I'm doing. Some Apps really consume battery a lot too. I noticed when I took the phone for a birthday photoshoot of a friend with GCAM, battery was dropping like some oversized pants on a small child. Activities carried out, network, room temperature, screen brightness, downloading, gaming and co all contribute to how fast your battery juice dries up.

Sometimes when I'm gaming, I get 5/6hrs and other times when I'm just reading up books on Adobe reader, I get 11/12 hours. Truthfully though, I'll admit the battery should/could've be/been doing better on regular usage.

Good morning, I woke up now and saw that my redmi note 5a prime is hot and switch off, I have been trying to switch it on but it's not working..... please what can I do to switch it on?
NB: I had like 60% last night

Let it cool down. Charge for about 20 mins then press and hold the power button for a long time.. phone should still be plugged

And if my answer is yes?

It's not a claim anyway. Global rom was flashed, same rom on global version.

How can you claim the battery capacity is now different?

Two things involved.
Either you have bad network in your area
Or
You put on Low Data Usage on your WhatsApp settings.

It's not set to low data usage...
Plz is there any camera app I can use to make this come out more clearer.

Try another network.

Modified***

Do one thing. Open WhatsApp and attempt to post a video status. Then toggle the front cam. If you see your fine face, then issue is not camera.
