Seems there is a surfeit of palm oil in the North now, that prices are dropping in the south. Today at Oriendu market, Isuikwuato palm oil is sold at #7000

my number is on my signature. Note that I am not into oil business. I only buy because it's a major raw material I use and I only post the prices I buy as a guide to others.

Greetings from Naija number one boarder town wink I come in peace and with good message, alot of people have been wondering why Palm oil price is dropping everywhere.

Well with out further ado importation and smuggling of our red special product has been underway. Our Cameroonian neighbors have been pumping us palm oil like they have no use for it, for months now they have not sold their produce because of the luck down now they have it in excess.

Prices are going up again...

On Tuesday at Nkwoegwu, Umuahia, #9000

On Wednesday at Eke Uzuakoli, #8000.

Today at Oriendu, Isuikwuato, #8000.

Except for Nkwoegwu Umuahia, where you will need serious scavengers to help "colonize" oil for you, you will need to use pricing strategy to buy enough oil in the other locations.


Note: The prices are not for grade A.

I don't know has border been opened for importation? Price is dropping here in osun from 11000 to 10000.

Hope most persons here are aware there is a difference between palm oil grade A and grade B? Grade B is general purpose oil while grade A is top oil/first extract.
Please when ordering for oil, pick the grade you want, lest you put some of us dealers in a difficult position. @iHart, I didn't see your call till today oh!
