I think we that want to submit our applications can send a mail of this format to abujavisaoffice@dfa.ie and/or visamail@justice.ie

‘Hello,

I am a prospective Irish study visa applicant from Nigeria, I have been trying to book an appointment in order to submit my application but it has not been successful (I have been getting this message “There are no open seats available for selected center - Ireland Visa Application Centre, Lagos”), and walk in applications are allowed.

In addition, VFS accepts Irish visa applications only on Mondays which in turn makes it almost impossible to get an appointment if or when they become available due to the huge number of applicants.

My school would be resuming soon and I fear my application will not be assessed before then. Thank you in anticipation of your rapid resolution.

Blah blah,
Blah blah blah,’

What do you guys think, Is it a bit selfish for us to send a mail of this form having the whole Corvid situation in mind.

My first result too wasn’t certified because my cursor left the test page.., i appealed and explain that it was because I’m using an on-screen keyboard. However I couldn’t wait for the appeal result so I just took another one, for free

Its better you hurriedly take another test now if its less than 30 days you took the first one.

You can email the Vfs and irish Embassy on why.

Cheers

I am only trying to understand why but, see below from their official site. My understanding is to have a color copies of the pages with valid/expired visas and refusal stamps on previous and current passports. It is for quick reference.

"Applicants are requested to carry an additional set of documents (color copy) clearly readable. For example- color copies of all supporting documents, Visa Application form, Passport bio page and pages that have valid/expired visas and stamps. You can chose to avail photocopy service at VFS centers by paying additional cost. Refer to the additional services page to know the charges."

I sympathize with you bro, i had a similar experience when i was taking the duolingo test.
I was so frustrated, i took the test four times before i had my result,my agent had to appeal to them to give me a last try although, there is a siver lining, the test is considerably easier than other tests and i practised alot so i had a 120, but the experience might vary from person to person
REASONS FOR MY PREVIOUS CANCELATIONS
1 System failure (make sure you have a well equipped computer and strong connection)

2 Moving the cursor away from the test tab ( make sure your cursor is always used to attempt the answers and not something else, this was also associated with system failure cause i had to remove constant pop ups)

3 Allegedly moving my face away from the screen ( although i am sure i did not look away from the screen given the fact that i had such little time and so many questions but it is still an excuse they use to make you write the exam again and pay extra so look out for that)
All the best.

I feel your pain bro i also felt that way, i was confused when they told me i was looking away from the screen for a long period of time, which i didnt, all they want is their money.
Just make sure you follow their instructions and try to be as calm as possible even though that is hard to achieve in an highly tensed exam environment.
Once again good luck.

Saw the decisions uploaded this morning.
A 77% approval rate is very impressive.

To fellow folks waiting since March and applicants who recently submitted, I wish you the favorable outcome.

'Approved' does mean a lot.
Mine came in with July 6 decisions.

Msc. Data Analytics at DBS.

Chiggslover (tnx for your help)
Deekaycee
Ceceliaa34

Very compulsory for your study visa application. Check the embassy support documents guide for Study visa applications.

To be honest
I’m not trying to hurt anybody feelings or anything
I think you guys should just forget about school for this
Year and focus on January.
With the way things are going and the pandemic not stoping anytime soon .. going to school will be very hard .
Just saying

I actually had to defer till next September last month. Thankfully, it was accepted. I'd work towards next fall. No pressure!
Regardless, I wish all those applying this year the very best. We'd all run this in one piece.

So, I got my Visa approved today. I applied last year and was rejected but was told I could appeal. I did this and with the help of Icas and most especially God, I appealed the decision and today, my visa was one of those on the approved list.

I am awaiting the reopening of our international flights and will be in Ireland when school resumes in September. My advice is to put God first and seek the counsel of experienced people on the forum. I pray that we are all favoured in the coming weeks
