Potential SE coach

I had same thoughts until June 20. He sure sounded like a typical Nigerian coach here. Just look at who he is recommending to us

"Ngoo is the top assist provider in Tirana and one of the top scorers. In the game yesterday against Vllaznia Shkoder he scored one goal and gave two assists, " said Egbo to allnigeriasoccer.com.

"Any player can be called up from any league, I lost my spot in the national team when I moved to Albania because the coaches see it as a small league, they don't know how developed and massive it is.

"There are Nigerian strikers doing well in Albania, Kyrian Nwabueze who has an American passport was the top scorer in the league before he got injured, so you have a lot of them wondering why they are not invited.

"They should be invited because they are good players and should be given an opportunity."

Egbo added : "I believe Ngoo is good enough for the national team, he played in the Liverpool Academy with Raheem Sterling" - See person reasoning grin

"He has the experience and grew up in a good environment, he is tall, almost two meters, very strong, good one vs one. We have to give every citizen a chance"

Just imagine this man urging us to invite Alabanian league players to the national team. Abeg he should focus on his club football, we can only wish him well from here

Komekn still dey learn work for wia Egbo dey here oooo... Kaaaiiii... So with the growing number of quality players we have in the top Leagues, he says we should be looking at players in Albania... This is too much.

The possibility of this happening is there, no doubt. But that would mean Spurs coughing out a better offer financially and guaranteeing enough gametime. And I think gametime would be the main issue plus the fact of spending so high on a young lad that would be backup striker for Kane. Personal terms agreement may also be a little hitch.

Osimhen to Spurs with Kane there is just slim unless Mou is gonna play two up top which I doubt. Or unless he plans a strict rotation policy. Mou has always majorly played with one main striker per first XI.

The possibility remains but I don't see Osimhen to Spurs happening unless Spurs can outdo Napoli on most terms offered to the lad with a strong written promise of playing time guaranteed too. Plus there is the matter of his transfer fee. They gotta match or slightly overmatch Napoli's. And then there is Osimhen himself. Would he dump a side that has shown enough to let him know how so very important he's gonna be for them? Time will tell.

Tottenham do not need to offer a better deal, they just need to negotiate a good deal with Napoli. For instance, Arsenal paid Pepe's deal in installments.

On salary, if Osimhen was moving to Napoli because of the money, the deal would have been long done, so he might be willing to take a pay cut for his dream EPL move.

TheLoneCitizen:
Mohamed Bouhfasi reporting that Victor Osimhen's expected move to Napoli could yet be derailed by a move from Tottenham and another unnamed team but Napoli are way ahead.
With the deal yet to be finalised, Jose Mourinho's side may yet snatch the Nigeria international late in the proceedings.

Napoli are desperate to complete the deal in the next 48Hrd and have sent representatives who had a meeting with Osimhen this afternoon.

Mohamed Bouhfasi is the most reliable journalist in France.

Naby has everything needed in a central midfielder, a complete player.

Ben Arfa was one of the most gifted players in the EPL, doesn't make him the best.

The Victor Osimhen operation will end, everybody in Naples is optimistic, and today the Nigerian striker could be in Rome for medical visits, as Lille are in a hurry to formally close the deal to avoid incurring internal sanctions on their balance sheet.

Galatasaray have made an approach and are expected to bid for Chidera Ejuke. They mean to replace Onyekuru with him.

Galatasaray have lost all 3 games since Onyekuru left scoring just 2 goals, compared to 1 loss before he left.

Heerenveen earlier rejected a 7M offer from a Chinese club.

I see naby as just a very good midfielder " on his day" as he is not very consistent...

He is one of my favorite player and I always prefer him to wijnadulm on my pes league...

Ben Arfa is just skilful jare, nothing spectacular or extraordinary, even if he is as you claim, we never saw it, he is always injured... I like him, but he couldn't survive the epl...

Neymar, Ronaldinho, Cruyff, zico, de Lima, zidane, okocha etc are example of gifted players, Arfa no among...

Better deal is the same thing as what you mean. Paying Pepe's transfer fee in installments doesn't cancel the fact that his overall fee is £72million. So whether it comes in 5 yrs or all at once... That 72 million will be paid in full eventually. Tottenham will have to beat Napoli's price to stand a chance of having Lille's attention. That's business. The matter of paying in installments or all at once is another matter all together. The Koko is the overall price must be better.

And Osimhen's dream move may be the EPL but he isn't going to risk it if he doesn't get the assurance he will get enough playing time. That's something Osimhen considers very greatly.

Any move to Turkey now is to be frowned at. A Super Eagles player or Hopeful should not be looking at Turkey. Chidera Ejuke and his reps better not even think about it. Players with high potentials should be looking to get out of Turkey and not heading to Turkey.

Thanks goodness Onyekuru has left that place. It is better he stays in Monaco and convinces the new coach, Roberto Moreno.

I think Turkey is a very good league to hone your skills, it is the most competitive league outside the big 5.

Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Besiktas, Istanbul Basak. They have 5 GENUINE title contenders.

It is rated the 11th best European league. In my opinion, it is higher than Belgium and Netherlands in quality.

Well I agree with you sha ,I like turkey but I don’t think someone like ejuke should move there ,the worst league he should settle for in the top league should be the French league ,just any club in the French league and I will be okay

I just feel onyekuru like running away from challenge

He should get a fresh chance at Monaco to show them what he can do because that dude is good

Stephen Odey was electric for Genk in a friendly game which they won 3-1. He supplied two assists.

Dessers, on the other hand, struggled. You could see it on his face at the end.

Most competitive outside the Big 5?? Very Debatable. And they have five contenders now b'cos the likes of Gala and Fenerbache have obviously fallen from their former high standards. They have been crap this season. In the last decade alone, Gala won 5 of the league titles while Fenerbache won 2.

Also, if we are to go by your logic of competitiveness in the Super Lig this season, then it means Turkey is more competitive than the EPL and the Bundesliga. And you know that thought won't hold b'cos the gap in quality of these leagues compared to Turkey is wide.

See ehn, I say a BIG NO to Turkey for Ejuke! Worst case scenario, I would prefer Belgium or he remains in Holland. And No, the Turkish league is not higher in quality compared to Belgium or Holland. I totally disagree with you on that.
Ejuke is more than good enough for French Ligue 1 for goodness sake. That is the real league of talents aside Holland and Belgium. Turkey is not a talents hot bed or breeding ground compared to Belgium or Holland or France.
In terms of league quality of talents, Holland and Belgium trumps Turkey.

little distracting topic for discussion house. which national team would you say has overachieved and underachieved in international football? for me Holland is the undisputed underachieving champion while for overachievers i go with Germany. Die Mannshaft haven't always had the best of squads and most stand out talents but somehow they always get the job done.

for africa senegal are clearly the biggest underachievers honorable mention to morocco, while disputable i think cameroon fits into the overachiever slot.

One of the most gifted central midfielder in the world not quality? Dude.

One of the most gifted CM in the world, where did you get that from❓

Dude has struggled to replicate his dominant form in the Bundesliga. Compare 58 Bundesliga games and 14 goals to 42 games in the EPL and just 3 goals. It's clearly obvious.

Keita is not first or second choice but the 3/4 choice midfielder.

He is not essential to Liverpool ascendency he is an attachment that can be sold at anytime if a decent offer is made for him.

Two players of Nigerian descent in the shape of Ovie Ejaria and former Chelsea schoolboy Michael Olise have been nominated for Reading's Player of the Season for the 2019-2020 campaign, informs the official website of the Royals.

All first team players with ten or more appearances so far this season have been shortlisted for the accolade, with the two Anglo-Nigerians making the cut.

Signed on loan from Liverpool in August 2019, Super Eagles hopeful Ejaria has been one of the most influential players in the Reading squad in his second spell with the club.

The 2017 England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder has appeared in 39 matches across all competitions this term, scoring three goals and setting up five others.

Olise, a France U18 international, is one of the highly-rated teenagers in the Championship, and has been involved in 21 games, logging 1,297 minutes and has provided two assists.

The winner of Reading's Player of the Season will be announced on Wednesday, July 22, before the start of their last game of the season against Swansea City at the Madejski Stadium.
