You can't be scammed if you pay within Alibaba. You get scammed when you pay outside of Alibaba's buyer payment platform.

My thoughts, seems those NiPost staff have a special website to track items because the guy requested for my tracking number, open a page on his phone and typed in the number. I could see it was delivered to surulere post office. I’ve been trying to search it on Nipost but it has always been showing nothing

Am a regular now.they don't even ask anymore, but i still give them something.So they always sort for my items nd call me wen I have any.

Why are we getting UK like Custom duty on phones?... This useless Xiaomi that said that they've have dealers in Nigeria why didn't they ship to their dealers... 23k for 90k phone...

I don't know the phone you are buying but people are buying those same phones in Nigeria everyday.

Buy from jumia instead, it is around that same price, and you won't have to wait for eternity or worry about customs but you have to be fast sha.

that is why people advised to source for their devices locally at this period. You can buy any xiaomi phone from nairaland sellers.

How is it the fault of Xiaomi that you were charged custom duty?


And we have been crying on this thread to avoid DHL because of custom charge except you don't mind the extra cost.

Funny enough track 24 is still showing dispatch to destination country NGLOS, is it that the shipping company didn't update its tracking info or na Nipost tracking site wey no work cause am? Am currently testing the earbud to know if it's working properly so i can add the complaint to too. Would give you feedback of how it all went, thanks for the advice.

That's not true. I payed for ordered item on the 14th of this month using gtbank mastercard, and it was successful. In fact, I got an e-mail of the transaction from them yesterday. Something could be wrong with your aliexpress Account.

I thought about this but the error code given was saying it from bank ..
