"Iswap gaining grounds in the northeast". "Bandits gaining grounds in the northwest and north central". "Boko haram has been technically defeated".
"PDP embezzled funds meant for the army"
"We have recovered all local governments under the control of boko haram"

All these statements from the ruling party yet there is no end in sight for bandits, herdsmen, terrorists and evil people in the north.

Like PMB did in the intervention to stabilize the APC Leadership from imminent wreckage recently....
He need to urgently bring back the Nigerian Army from collapse in view of the recent unusual
mass resignation going on in the Nigerian military force over accusations against leadership recklessness..
i made bold to say, that a stitch in time...saves nine!....the leadership no doubt has lost the baton of control... things has fallen apart...the center...may soon be gbam!

. Guy 4get, I no dey for army but I get people for Force, if all igbo or any part of the South commot for the Nigerian armed forces, it is a disaster in a waiting, the beginning of slavery for the region. This whole issue might be a power play to frustrate some people out of the Army. So it can be dominated by certain people. Note the only set of people that can challenge and put the government on their toes are the military. COAS and other ogas for their are literally the second most powerful authority after the C-in-C(who is the president himself ).

I understand.

Buhari died long time ago. Why don't you guys read meaning into what is happening in Nigeria? Why?
PrinzJaay:

What’s hurting me most in this is that Buhari is quiet about all this, why accept losing thousands of soldiers just for one man? Sack your Chief of Army Staff and employ someone that’ll harmonize the army for greater productivity. If you lose all these soldiers and keep Buratai still, will he be the only one that’ll fight Boko Haram?

nothing would've made them quit the army if they're truly passionate about the job. Real soldiers don't quit. This can only happen in a country where unemployment, instead of passion, pushed young men into military career. I'm not saying the allegations they made against their superiors and high rank military officers are false, but a real soldier wouldn't have quit. His passion for the job would've overridden those challenges.
Hian so on top of passion they should suffer in a futile fight against insurgency. Abegii.

Complex problem.

The army accused the population in the North of being informant to boko haram. This is a Nigeria security problem generally. Army oppress the people, act with impunity and take illegal action. Give citizens corporal punishment which they have no powers to do, flog them. How will they trust you? When you're an oppressor who doesn't follow the law but act in arrogance.

Many people enlisted into the army to oppress their village people and extended family and because of poverty. Never love for the military or patriotism.

The army heirarchy is covered in slime.

Well it's a choice and nobody can force you to fight against your wish. It's simple common sense. I can't risk my life going into some jungle and desert to fight some bas.tard Islamic terrorist and at the end of the day, the top military officers and some cursed politicians who are sitting in their offices and enjoying will decide they want to give terrorists amnesty. It makes no sense .
If you begin to mention top 20 names in the nigerian miltary top officers, at least 15 or 16 of them will be hausa/fulani. Na so so Mohammed, Abubakar, Suleiman you go dey hear. How the phuck will people not suspect that they are up to something and sympathise with the terrorists. Let buratai prove to us that he is indeed a leader and go to the battle front with his fellow top miltiary officers. Let them all experience what the junior officers are going through.

There is a limit to how far your passion can take you, Someone with strong passion and zeal can loose it when things are not done the right way.

That commander that is blaming soldiers of cowardice is one of the soldiers who are short hanging troops allowances.Soldiers are not meant to go on suicide mission but to fight and defend their nation.Let him forfeit his salary if money is not the reason he enlisted into the army.

This is One of the most senseless posts I ever read in this forum. You are sitting in the comfort of your home typing trash. They have resigned, you can go and take over from them. You can fight Boko Haram with your bare hands

What if this is the plan, what if this is the next step in the "Islamize Nigeria agenda" buhari and his cohorts had from the Onset said, what if the plan is to have their boys saturate the army and easily use it as the ultimate tool

One day u will just wake to see army men kill Christians anyhow and anywhere in the country... Bloody and inescapable JIHAD
