SuperStriker: Unlike elegushi beach that is engaged by beach goer, the people that visit Ilashe beach tend to form porch, Behind, minding business in their own beach houses. People don't socialise else you are amongst them. So this strip the life off the concept of going to beach. 1 Like |

This is more of a resort than a beach due to the swimming pools.why should you still have swimming pools when you have a beach.Nigeria with wrong terminologies are 5 and 6. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Lol... Ilashe is a raw beach. You and cows will be chilling on the beach front too. Be watchful for the younger residents/thugs they will want to milk you off any money you have, they'll also change agreements too just because is their area. (They'll leave you at "make we see as you wan commot for the beach house go the boat side na) No security whatsoever too, so go with your security. No network as well. Your activities will get meddled with the residents staying and watching you guys. There are a lot of beggers. If you wanna go, make sure you guys are much else it may get very boring. If you're into ship viewing, you will love this place, a lot of ships. I can't imagine sleeping over there though 3 Likes |

pomide:So it's not even as exclusive. Seems like an overrated nonsense. What's the point of paying over one million naira only to get harassed by locals and lack of network (even Wi-Fi?). I'd rather chill in elegushi |

lexy2014: There is nothing in Lagos to be envious about because we don't operate America system of government - Federalism. If Lagos were to be a country of her own, it would be the fifth or fourth economy in Africa. That place is just an Island or peninsula. The best description for that place is beach resort. From this nairaland video https://www.nairaland.com/4508558/ilashe-beach-lagos-nigeria it can be seen. Lagos has so many Islands and peninsula. Lagos carries the burden of Nigeria without anything to show for it. I saw a lot of comments just to discredit Lagos as a megacity overburdened by Nigeria problems. Between now and 5am tomorrow, over 5.000 vehicles (trucks, cars & buses) will enter and leave Lagos. The person that said Eko Atlantic City has failed does not know anything and he talks foolishly. He can even claim he sleeps and wakes up in Robert and Gilbert houses and the houses of other promoters of Eko Atlantic City. Some people are funny. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I was at this beach march 2018, the op should have mentioned why getting there was difficult. Most of the beach houses are owned by multinationals operating in Apapa and environs. So staffs takes turn to get the services of their boat/yatch operators. It was really interesting because I saw many companies operating in Apapa. For the beach house we lodged in we brought everything needed. They don't even sell pure water there, No light but we rented a tiger gen (3k) to power our sound system and charge our gadgets. I love the part of the trip where u will see hundreds of ships entering and leaving the shores of this country, very massive and gigantic. No MTN signal there o 2 Likes 1 Share |

professorPABX: What has American system of govt got to do with how Lagos has been managed since 1999 till date and d mess that it is? |
Re: Ilashe Beach - One Of The Most Luxurious Beaches In Nigeria by Nobody: 9:54pm On Jul 21, 2020 |
lexy2014: Federalism enables a State to have an independent developmental system of government and full control over management of her resources. Three States in US have economy bigger than France as a Country. University of California annual budget is almost the same with Nigeria's annual budget, this is just a budget for education and research. This is not possible under nomadic unitary system that we run in Nigeria. Before 1999, Lagos has become a jungle. Abacha damaged and abandoned Lagos. In Abuja, in 1998, they mocked me, they said there is nothing in Lagos again. They said they will dredge River Niger and Benue to Atlantic Ocean in Delta to establish deep sea port at Lokoja. They said Atlantic Ocean that was 2km away from Ahmadu Bello way VI has encroached and claimed half of Ahmadu Bello way and will eventually swallow VI and entire Lagos Island. They were so excited. When Tinubu came, he worked. All of us that left Lagos are back with millions of people. Companies that relocated came back. The present mess in Lagos is because of destruction of environmental sanitation management system that was developed for 16 years but destroyed by Ambode 3 Likes 2 Shares |

babaolofin: Oga u aren't communicating. U haven't told me how d lack or otherwise of d American system of govt in Nigerian polity has contributed negatively to how Lagos has been run since 1999. If u say that d absence of this system is d problem of Lagos, are u saying that Lagos is a mess? And if indeed it is, how come u are now saying this: "When Tinubu came, he worked. All of us that left Lagos are back with millions of people. Companies that relocated came back." I fail to see d relevance of ur reference to abacha in answering d simple question I asked |

What is d number of u guys that left& came back since u say all of u that left Lagos came back? Which companies relocated from Lagos and came back? Can u give their names? Y did they leave Lagos? |

I was at this beach on december 28th 2019, the beach is just as in the picture, I and my friends stayed at the house at the 13th to 16th picture. The staircase rail was broken, and we were not allowed to stay upstairs because the wooden floor was visibly broken too. It's a nice beach and the guys there told us it is close to the cameroon border. You can access the beach from the ijegun ferry terminal just inside satellite town. Good atmosphere to be honest, and the water is very clean. Nice environment for a group hangout. 1 Like |
