They suppose to be engaged by the government but since our country has a bad system, they supposed to have anticipated this day and save for personal business and development which they can earn a living from. My humble opinion.

The government should give them permanent employment. Where are the jobs? If they disengage them just like that, where will they get job? Is it in this same Nigeria?. Government better act fast by employing them. Just imagine 500,000 graduates jobless. Especially in these hard times. Kidnapping, armed robbery, internet fraud and so on. Why did they promise them permanency at the end of their 2 years contract? Why didn't they disengage them that time? They used them to win election and now they want to put them out in the cold. No way! They should fight for their right. God will help them
Forget Nigerians, most of them are working and still benefiting, BTW it was clearly stated it was gonna last for two years and this is the 4-3 year
They should relax and let others come in too

Let's do some math here :
Stipend is 30k per month
The program started around 2016
30,000×4years×12 months + cist if tablet( say 70,000)= 1.5 million naira approximately.
Why not gather those people who have skills, monitor and mentor them with 1.5 million Naira cash to start up

as soon as Nigerians hear 1.5m the process will turn to man know man....

I don't know if it's me, but most of them look really fresh. Even fresher than those earning ten times the N-Power salary.

illiterate literates, didn't the read their letter of engagement, that the programme is strictly for 20months
For me they are been greedy,I have told most of these npower niggies that what we need us industrial revolution and not govt 30k stipend that has no assurance
Good luck on their protest

You are wrong, they are not greedy . The government had a series of virtual meeting with them before the last presidential election , promising them that if they should elect Buhari, permanecy would be granted them. Prior to the promise, they had no such thought of permanency . Now Buhari has been elected , don't you think they have the right to demand for it? We have illiterate militants in this country that have been receiving what a Nigerian graduate cannot receive. And this payment has been on right from the time of late President Yar' Adua till date. PMB even increased the payment immediately he got elected. These millitants do not contribute anything to the economy. But the Npower graduates are working their as* out , some are deployed to hospital to face various hazards just because of 30k . So are you telling me that the graduates are useless compare to those who are bombing oil pipeline and destroying the county' resources? Till the graduates start picking up arms to cause havoc like the militants, we would never be respected. Illiterates are respected and treated like kings because they carry gun.

It is not wise of any government to engage some people for about 2 or more year and then disengage them after they had already acquired enough experiences to contribute to the development of the country. A wise government would not do that!

View may be unpopular but a country like Nigeria can not afford to absorb this massive amounts of people as workers. Forget the thieving politicians for now. They are stealing what is actually inadequate in the first place. Government cannot and should not be in the business of employing everyone but must create policies that would encourage small business growth. This is where we miss it

you can't just employ "anybody" to teach, that's what is killing our education sector. Someone who got a first class or 2-1 is employed, even though that person crammed his/her through university. The best teachers are practitioners, people who are in the field. If you employ a reader/crammer and the book has an error, he/she will pass it down to the students.
You are right, from my right up you will deduce that we are saying the same thing.
I made mention of comprehensive interview and screening. Some persons might not go through teaching school, but are still good teachers. While some after teaching college still sucks at teaching.
