I don't understand the rationale of resuming FSW two weeks ago and then going back to specific draws. Are some people more important than the others. It's totally unfair, I wish there is somewhere we can channel our complaint too but it's their country and they can do what they like, it's not their fault that Nigeria is a terrible country.
Even at 477 am still scared because birthday is almost here and 5 Mark's will fly out. This journey is stressful mhen..we pray and keep moving on.

Just be calm... It will end well. Indeed the process is unpredictable and in recent times, the level of uncertainties is on another roof. Even us that are post ITA too are frustrated... Imagine getting ITA and celebrating like a year ago only to find yourself still here in Naija today and nothing iseems to be moving with no communication whatsoever. Trust me, it's even more tiring when u feel u r at the finish line and it takes longer to cross.

They know what they are doing and m sure the COVID thing is also affecting. Let's just pray that there is a solution to the pandemic, they open their borders and economic activities begin to move again.

We will all get there someday.

ITA 157th. These people are not to be predicted. "It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop"

Please house, I am looking for some guidance.

My first application was denied and I got ITA again and trying to fill out the second application
There is a session title "Immigration history and citizenships" and 2 out of the 5 questions have me confused.
1. Has EngrSarah applied to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada before: I answered Yes
2. Has EngrSarah applied for Permanent Residence (PR) before: I answered Yes

Here are the questions confusing me:
3. Please provide the Permanent Residence (PR) file number: I believe this should be the file number, which starts with an "E" of my rejected application, right?
4. If EngrSarah has a Unique Client Identifier (UCI) please enter it below: I believe this should be the UCI of my rejected application, right?

Thanks in advance!

Please how long did it take them to acknowledge receipt? Mine got to Canada on Monday and I've been checking my tracking number on their site and they keep saying they've not received it.

Mine got to Canada last Monday but they've not acknowledged it yet too. When I check with my tracking number on their site they say they've not received it. I sent them a DM, you could consider same if you wish

Let’s take solace in the fact that Canada’s immigration quota for 2020 is about 341,000..this is half year and they’ve invited not up to 60,000 people. They also need us as it’s a huge source of revenue for them...
don’t get discouraged. If u’re studying for a second degree, continue! If U’re learning French, keep at it! If u studying for ielts, aim to max out. What u don’t want to do is not be ready when the opportunity presents itself. For those in the pool already, just chill.
God will grant each and everyone of us our heart desires.
341 is total immigration. Fsw is about 96k and pnp 67k.

keep praying it will reach you. The journey is stressful even after getting ITA, COPR and landing. Many in Europe and usa have been hustling permanent residency or citizenship for a long time with no hope in sight. Nothing good comes easy. He go reach you. At least they did draws and there is hope, what if they did like Trump who banned immigration. Just sad what our useless leaders are putting us through.

Hahahhhhaa! Apparently, the dude will likely win. The core native Americans like him... It's the minorities that really don't dig his style.

Just pray Canada don't start another type of immigration program for people with American connection.. Cos that will just put more pressure on the FSW one... Canadians tend to hold America high.

You want to retract that statement because that absolutely not true. Canadians don't want Americans to come to their country right now.

Hello Everyone, just checked my ielts results and as I expected the listening component did me in. I scored LRWS 7/6/7/7.5. I was really afraid of the map questions so I practiced endlessly while still fervently praying it doesn’t appear. However it did, and it was the most complicated map I have ever seen. I couldn’t even understand the criss crosses on paper and locations mentioned in the audio and they were about six questions I think. In a way, I think it affected my mood for the rest of the exams but I managed to forge on. It’s this reading that has me somersaulting! Me score 6 in reading...how na?? I’ve been pretty confident about my reading skills all through practice period and all. The reading was a walk through and I even had ample time to triple check all my answers. I’m guessing I made a mistake somewhere, maybe in how I supplied the answers, numbering or something. There just has to be something that went wrong and I’ll go back to the drawing board and fix everything once and for all. Please seniors in the house help with tips on how you aced your map and listening questions overall. Coming back with my testimony next month. Time to check into the reading room again

From my experience, your mood after the listening had an effect on the other part of the test. I could remember vividly during my reading test,I was so pressed that I wanted to ease myself but I wasn't allowed to go out due to system error on my fingerprint. I had to just get over with the reading part so that I can go out. As soon as the error was fixed, I went out to ease myself and returned back to the hall. You wont believe my shock at how wrong I was while going through the answers I initially supplied- thank God I had enough time to go through it all and corrected my mistakes in good time. I had LRWS 9, 8,8,8 (First attempt)
As for the listening part and other aspects of the test,
I will advise you to get familiar with the principles of each aspect and practice rigorously while maintaining a state of emotional stability during the test. Wishing you all the best.

Mapping can be quite tricky to be honest. Here are some tips that helped me.

Before they start speaking quickly skim through and make note of the labels already stated in the question paper Eg flagpost, City Centre, North River etc. This is essential because some answers will be described as 'you can find the statue close to the Flagpost'

Also try to draw the four cardinal points to aid you when they mention Something like "the Northern part of the map"

Makesure you quickly sight the starting point where the narrator will probably start. It could also be an entrance, gate or reception.

When they start describing. Use your idle hand( hand not with pencil) to follow the routes on the paper as the mention it in the audio. Then write your answer down.

When you are done with a section and they ask you to check your answers. Go to the next section instead and read ahead. This will give you ample time to get familiar (that's if you don't have missing questions in the previous section)

Also practise more and get familiar and develop a way to help you. I believe everyone has a way.

Keep practicing and good luck ahead.
