So number of Nigerians going to China this year is small? This thread is hyperactive around this time last year. Is it because of the pandemic? Have they stopped giving us admission and scholarship in high numbers?

Nottingham Nigbo is great I follow all their programs on LinkedIn and their website. In fact, this is the university I chose for PTDF scholarship last year. Yes it was on the list.
There scholarship programs are on the website please take a look.
You can work in China if your school or your supervisor allows it.

I'm going to Hunan myself

Re: Nigerian Students In China by Chuksjekas: 12:31am On Aug 28, 2020
Please my question is concerning my university transcript (Uniport).. it is a student's copy transcript issued by uniport, surprisingly, I found out that they wrote "not for official use" across it and on the left corner of the transcript.. I have requested for the official one, they said they can't issue it out to students that they are to be the one to send the official one to any institution that will be needing it.. they claimed that the student's copy transcript can be used to apply for visa.. please I want to confirm if truly this transcript can be used for Chinese student visa application??

Secondly, does one need to authenticate his BSc cert, transcript at Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs after been notarized by a notary public (lawyer)?

Those of you having trouble getting into China might want to consider Malaysia. I'm not Nigerian, so I cannot speak on everything you'll experience, but as a black American who has spent time in Malaysia, I think it's a better option. I frankly don't even trust mainland Chinese and I can't imagine sending an 18 year old kid there. The only thing bad about Malaysia is that there's a certain poor and very dumb segment of the population that's obviously racist, but they don't cause too much trouble. Most people, even stupid Indians, are pretty laidback.

But I have heard there aren't any job opportunities there for Nigerians. I don't know how true that is when there's foreign companies around.

I suspect the Malay schools should give you access to the Australian market. I think if you're willing to live in the boonies in Australia, you can get a nice salary (by American standards) and valuable, marketable experience. Then you can go anywhere with that.
Ohk. I got my info. You AA
