At the bolded, I would like to officially apply to be one of mentees.Trust me, I won't bother you too much, I only need few information and I will paddle the canoe myself. But if you insist you want to be like those Canadian professors that usually say "I don't have room and fund to accommodate more students... " It is highly understandable.

Nevertheless, with the dept of information you have shared, it will go a very long way... This feedback means a lot to me. Whereas, some things keep baffling me a lot about this Canada which of course I won't like to ask openly and it's people like you that can give me the answers.

When I saw the mail this morning, I thought I have been denied, I avoided my account till I couldn't hold it anymore I had to check. I just applied 19 days ago, and my admission is for Winter 2021, I am hoping and praying this ends well.

Hmmm I initially typed congratulations until I saw your second post that they have not completed your eligibility and background check.

Are these people bringing another new style again? Why send medical request when eligibility review is not completed?

I guess its an issue with 'updating of account'. It's possible that the eligibility review has been completed but not updated on the account.

But how have they concluded eligibility review for people who applied in June and yet people like me that applied since March 8, got my medical request in April. Did and passed the medicals in May. Yet nothing. And my school resumes September 8 and just emailed me that I will be provided letter to show at my home country border and Canadian border to enable me cross.

They will also provide 2 weeks quarantine plan including airport pickup, accommodation, food, etc for $800. They also said I have to make it to Canada before August.

So I wonder why they are so fast with people who don’t have a complete application and a lot of people with complete application are still hanging.

August 15 is approximately 3 weeks from now.
