Anytime after 9 months

I was told that by September, it should be ready. Just keep checking, anytime the lower leaves start to change colour i.e, drying, then you are good to go. The nine months answer is not totally right, unless it was planted in November and by that time, it wasn't even growing; growing starts when rain starts falling.

Since it's April,your harvesting time should be December.

Please start checking your yams around August and September so you don't go and meet rotten yams
