We live by the grace of God. Although that doesn't mean we misuse it because grace abounds. But you live by rules, not even rules from the Bible but man made rules, rules subject to the error of man.

My church doesn't come up with rules; especially one that seeks to excommunicate people who leave the church. That even makes them know that they made the right choice by leaving; leaving people who can no longer love them because they left.

For example If the person(JW) works in a construction company, and the manager get a contract to do some work on a CHURCH building. The JW is advised if it is totally impossible for him to be absent, he can decide to go to the site and work but not work extensively while on the site.

Or they say God say we should stop touching the unclean things, how will one not touch unclean things when they told the same person to not work extensively there.

There is one funny article I saw like that about how they view other people prayers in one of their publications and why they should not say AMEN to prayer of unbelievers. Nothing wey person no go see. All na rules and policies made to fit scripture.
