History Of Copernicus: Man Who Asserted Heliocentric Fact Against Biblical Error by OtemAtum: 9:00am On Jul 28, 2020
The Bible once recorded erroneously that the sun was moving around the earth. When Aristarchus spoke against this view and said that the earth and other planets revolve around the sun either, they almost tore him to pieces in their ignorance. Then many years after came Copernicus. Then he made known the fact which the Bible is not aware of. That truth is that the earth and other planets are revolving around the sun. Read the History below:

Pivadra 17: 1- 42

1. Nicolaus Copernicus was a male homo sapiens born in the 281,473rd year of the homo sapiens era, which is the 1473C.E.
2. He was born in Poland. Now when Copernicus began to grow, he began to discover himself to be a reincarnation of a being who had existed in the past.
3. Now Copernicus discovered himself to be a certain person named Copernius in his past life.
4. When he had discovered the kind of person that Copernius was in the past world, he decided to live a life totally different from that of his past carnation.
5. Now he loved science, medicine, astronomy and mathematics. Then he also involved himself in political matter.
6. Now when Copernicus had checked and thought it through, he began to discover that the sun, rather than the earth, was at the centre of the solar system while the whole planets revolved around it.
7. But in those days, the people of the earth assumed the solar system to be the whole of the universe and thought that the sun and all the planets were revolving around the earth.
8. Now when the idea of Copernicus came to the notice of some prominent figures, they made fun of him, saying, Copernicus does not know how to reason well.
9. How could he ignore the assertion of the bible and bring a view totally contrary? He is a big fool for not knowing that the sun and the planets revolve around the earth according to the holy bible.
10. Now Barbara, who was the sister of Copernicus, told the catholics about the assertion of Copernicus and they visited him to make arguments with him.
11. And they said, O Copernicus, have you not read the book of Joshua in the bible? Did you not know that Joshua commanded the sun to stand still while it was revolving around the earth?
12. How could you think yourself wiser than Jehovah our god through whose inspiration the bible is written?
13. Now Copernicus said to them, I do not get overtly involved in religion because religion is deprived of true knowledge.
14. And it is a great pity that the religious ones do not know that they do not know what they do not know, but they think that they know all things already, thereby creating no room for expansion of knowledge.
15. But knowledge is the ability to know that you know what you know and also the ability to know that you do not know what you do not know.
16. For with the sincerity of my mind do I say this, the writer of the book of Joshua which you quoted from the bible does not know that he doesn't know the truth about the solar system.
17. But I know that in the future, it shall be well known that the earth revolves around the sun, which is contrary to the position of the bible.
18. Now when the Catholics heard the confession of Copernicus, they reported him to the church, saying, Copernicus speak heresy. Should he not be put to death?
19. Now Copernicus was arrested and kept in the Catholic Court in Poland. And they demanded that he should recant his beliefs.
20. Now Copernicus said, I cannot say otherwise, because I am convinced that I am not wrong concerning the heliocentric nature of the universe.
21. Now the catholic priests colluded and said, this man is mad, for he does not fear punishment, because he has an uncle who is very influential. Therefore let us send for Lucas his uncle to bail him out.
22. For we know that Lucas the bishop of Warmia is rich and very influential. And he shall share with us much wealth.
23. So Lucas, the uncle of Copernicus went to the Catholic Court and said, I am ready to pay a huge price to save my nephew from danger of death or castration.
24. So Lucas bailed Copernicus with a very large sum of money. Then he said to Copernicus, promise me O Copernicus that you will no more speak anything contrary to religious texts at least in my lifetime. For I know that you do not want to be associated with religion, which is the reason why you have rejected many religious positions offered to you in the past because of my status.
25. So Copernicus promised his uncle to be silent concerning anything that he had found contrary to the beliefs of Christianity.
26. Then in those days, he pretended to be going well along with religious duties.
27. Now after the death of his uncle, he made his model of the universe public again. Then he explained his heliocentric model to the secretary of the pope called Clement VII.
28. And he said, Widmannstetter, I have clearly explained this heliocentric model of the universe to you and I am sure that you will explain it well to the pope as he has demanded.
29. I am counting on you to bring me good news.
30. So Widmannstetter, the secretary of the pope went in to the pope and explained the model clearly to the pope and the pope found it very convincing such that he said, I shall reward you for this.
31. Now when both the Catholics and the protestants heard what Clement VII did, they were filled with rage, saying, the pope is dining in the same plate with a heretic.
32. Let him be removed from the papalcy.
33. Now when efforts were not made to remove Clement VII from the position of papalcy, some men were sent to poison the pope.
34. So did the pope eat a poisoned fruit without anyone's awareness. Then he died, being only fifty-six years old.
35. Now when pope Paul III was made pope, he also loved the heliocentric model of Copernicus and he gave him free entry and exit to his court, learning astronomy from him.
36. Now this thing displeased the killers of Clement VII, but they had no power over the new pope.
37. So the heliocentric model of Copernicus began to be accepted by even the great leaders of Christianity over the geocentric model of the bible in those days.
38. And even Nikolaus von Schönberg, who was the Archbishop of Capua, charged Copernicus to publish his heliocentric model.
39. Now Copernicus said, I know that I have received the backings of the great leaders of the Catholic church that I should publish my works and most especially the heliocentric model which I discovered.
40. But I do not want to be ridiculed by the ignorant ones. For they make fun of true knowledge and carry their ignorance from one generation to the other.
41. But for the sake of the future, I shall publish it and be seen as a great one in the future.
42. So Copernicus published his works and his heliocentric model was made known to many in those days, but it was not accepted as the truth until many years after.

The story of the discovery of the earth revolving around the sun is true.....but i just realised that your credibility @OtemAtum is quite weak on this forum.....no one can even tell the difference between when you are stating facts or cooked up stories.

tsinzu:
Where did the Bible ever say the sun was moving around the earth?

Additional biblical proof for a moving Sun was seen in Ecclesiastes
1:5, where it is said:
"The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his
place where he arose."

Other biblical verses were interpreted as scriptural evidence that the
Earth is fixed and immovable:

Psalm 93:1
"(...) the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved."

Psalm 104:5
"Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."

1 Chronicles 16:30
"(...) the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved."

Upon these text passages from the Old Testament, theologians based the
doctrine of a fixed Earth with the Sun orbitting it. For example,
Cardinal Robert Bellarmine (1542-1621) referred to these passages,
when he became involved in the controversy about Galileo Galilei's
work. On 12 April 1615, he wrote in a letter, refusing Galilei's
scientific concept of the Sun being orbited by the Earth which proved
wrong the doctrine:

The sun appearing to be moving around the earth is an illusion. For example, if you are in a moving bus, you will observe as if those standing by the road side and the trees were moving swiftly backward. That illusion was what deceived the Bible people. Because the earth is moving, we start seeing the sun as if it is the one moving around the earth. That's natural illusion.

A great man who fed more than 5000 people in Israel on two different occasions with five loaves of bread and two fishes, who drove people out of the Jewish temple forcefully, who threatened the rulership of Herod the king by his claim of being a king, who did miracles of raising the dead several times, healing the lame, crippled, etc. but could not make any history book of his contemporaries, except a religious book called the bible. What does that communicate to you?

You didn't get my point. I didn't say that Jesus should write history books about his contemporaries, rather I'm saying that Jesus was not recorded in the history books written by his contemporary historians, even after he was acclaimed to have done great things. If there is going to be a history book of footballers today, you will find Ronaldo, Messi, Pele and Maradona there.

Those who knew him, Yahushua the Messiah, have done a good job of recording his earthly existence. That is all that matters. Like he stated, his kingdom was not of this world.

He, Yahushua the Messiah, is God.

Did they have to be historians? They gave accounts of his life and existence on earth. Most of them ate and drank with him. Some of them travelled with him. Majority of them witnessed the great and awesome signs and miracles he performed while he was physically on this earth.

Who were these contemporaries you are yapping about?

How can Matthew eat with Jesus when the book of Matthew was affirmed to have been written more than 30 years after the supposed death of Jesus? Was it an afterthought or something? And to cap it up, Matthew doesn't even exist in our homosapiens world.

Matthew gave an account of the earthly life and existence of Yahushua the Messiah. Whether it was written by Matthew, one of his disciples, or another person who went by the same name, is a different thing altogether. However, the eye witness accounts of his existence were penned down in the Book of Matthew.

This is very much within the premise of this thread.

Mention some of the contemporaries of Yahushua the Messiah who were historians.

I'm also researching on the origin of Christianity. And it also seems that Christianity is a washed with Babylonian,Sumerian stories.
Even the story of Jesus:born of a virgin, died and resurrected;the same has been said about Horus,Dionysus, mithra, etc.
I even have evidence that the Jesus story of born on the 25th,died and ressurected is referring to the movement of the sun in the zodiac circles.
What do you have to say?

Heartlessbanker:
I'm also researching on the origin of Christianity. And it also seems that Christianity is a washed with Babylonian,Sumerian stories.
Even the story of Jesus:born of a virgin, died and resurrected;the same has been said about Horus,Dionysus, mithra, etc.
I even have evidence that the Jesus story of born on the 25th,died and ressurected is referring to the movement of the sun in the zodiac circles.
What do you have to say?
You are exactly on point. Similar thing is recorded in the Book where I am bringing out this history from.
