I have been to patani several times it's a pity the people are suffering and dying needlessly and have to go miles for healthcare issues I know a few kids who died as a result

Whereas they could have had 2 hospitals, a market, a few good roads which would have increased the value of life there and raised their standard of living.

Whereas those of you blaming South South and Asari etc are fools, I have never been a fan of asari but the problem with Nddc is a Nigerian problem not a south south or Niger Delta problem

Of course some Niger Deltans like akpabio and co. are complacent along with non Niger Deltans like Mele Kyari the NNPC DG but they are individuals representing their pockets and not their regions and we pray that they all suffer for 600 years

No ordinary person from south south can enter Akpabios office to demand anything not even employment or accountability simply because you are Niger Deltan

Nddc, nnpc, pppra and all other oil related organisations in Nigeria have people from all over Nigeria working there and stealing off the resources in the Niger Delta.

Infact the number of northerners and South westerners working in Nnpc and Nddc and pppra are more than the Niger Deltans in those organisations

Nddc and co. Are operated the same way Nigeria police, efcc, army, Pension, Nscdc, immigration and co.are run the Nigerian way

Recently the itshekiri, Ijaw people were protesting the handing over of 57 oil blocs in the Niger Delta to people non of whom was from the NigerDelta region, so these new oil bloc owners stay in Abuja, Lagos, zamfara etc and pollute our water ways and kill all our fishes in the Niger Delta while their houses and families are far away making it hard for us to kidnap them or burn their properties if they mess up.

Maybe we should go back to blowing up pipe lines, kidnapping oil workers and so on so that you people will know that we are serious
WHAT'S MELE KYARI OFFENSE? YOUR HERO OF DEMOCRACY SPENT SIX YEARS AS THE NUMBER ONE CITIZEN,WHAT'S IS HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE NIGER DELTA.CONTINUE TO DECEIVE YOURSELF.

Two cottage hospitals that would employ our graduate doctors and two road projects that would employ our engineers but alas. See this kidwaya his father laundered money for ibori but the same people are voting his son to win 85 million in bbn. Nigeria's problem is a good research topic.

The lawmaker that abandoned the project must be a fool for committing even a dime to the project.

What stops him from putting the money in his pocket? Is he not aware of the on going stealing competition duly supported by Asari Dokubo?

Abeg, if and when Akpabio leaves, the next to take over should double what Akpabio did. He has the full backing of Asari Dokubo. After all, na our oyel money. Developing Niger Delta region is not necessary, we can always insult the north for poor development. undecided

Nigeria is a pit of corruption. Greed will kill all of us. It is not about the law maker, it is about the Nigerian system. The law makers are made from us.

Our value system need to change and be growth and progressive oriented. These guys travel abroad and see development and yet will come and continue in the profligacy and wastages without caring about the masses.

They want the masses to continue to worship them. Those outside the government are even worse as they are waiting for the opportunity to pounce on the common treasury and steal a hell out of the coffers.
Right...
The 'value system' of many of Nigerians is rotten.
It only becomes glaring when they ascend a public office.

Maybe you should start blowing up the properties of those who collected money to improve your life but chose to keep the money for themselves and their families. Maybe you should start kidnapping members of their families. That is when we will know you are serious.

nddc is the first one. They are planning to probe nedc to answer questions on the 100b naira allocated to the agency. Everyone is stealing at will in every agency.politicians and their cronies are using agencies to siphon monies.

Contractors always avoid federal agencies and nddc is the number 1 headache of them all.

This is most stupidest argument from the Niger Deltans. Money devoted for the development of the region is wantonly embezzled upto over 1trillion Naira without any development in the area and this is argument from the region is sad.

Why not develop the region with the allocated funds while fighting for equity in allocation of OPLs.

layzie:
Road construction contracts in NDDC are hardly completed. Sometimes not for fault of contractor. Before now, it was payment on achieved milestones. But the payment will take years to come, leading to the washing away of what had already been achieved. This leads to variations upon variations occassioned by delayed payments and its effect on work already done. At the end, it gets abandoned.

Later they changed to - complete with ur money then we pay. In this case, an uncompleted contract won't be paid for. In other words, a contractor with an abandoned contract is the one losing and not NDDC. Commission can they decide to re-award due to non performance. But then, this is Nigeria.

I put all blames of abandoned contracts squarely on NDDC
Supported, gbam.

Our Oyel money, if not exposed he will be in the forefront of blaming Buhari for uncompleted projects in the Niger Delta and shouting we are not part of Biafra anytime Nnamdi Kanu releases a statement about Nigeria.

Akpabio is not willing to go down alone, despite the money he is suspected of stealing Akpabio remains one of the most respected leaders in the South South for transforming Akwa Ibom state.
Ijaw people are notorious in ensuring that projects are abandoned in their areas if you don't pay them Matching Ground money to drink ogogoro and impregnate young girls. Even Jonathan could not complete the road to his village
Pls what do you mean by Akpabio is not willing to go down alone, where did he go wrong, is pointing out a problem by him makes him guilty?
If you or someone you know has any thing against bring it out we want to know at least for the benefit of Niger Delta and Nigeria as a whole.
