Jesus Christ never asked anyone that He would need money from them for His Kingdom... so what 'kingdom' is this man referrring to?
Whose kingdom?
We do not live in the time of Joshua-- the time of the Old Covenant. We live in the time of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ never asked any of His own to pay money for any 'Kingdom' Projects.

You indeed cannot serve two masters.. You cannot serve God and an earthly kingdom built by man .

You cannot serve man's will and God's Will at the same time - it is indeed impossible to be slave to two masters. Either you bring man's will under God's will or you whole heartedly dedicate yourself to serving the will of men, and his kingdom. Those who do will have no share in the Kingdom of God.
