Really? If I can get a link to that lemme laugh my ass out grin

I agree with you, but we're currently between the sea and the devil.

If we didn't vote for apc this year.
It will affect us in 2023, if a Yoruba man becomes the president .

I found the instance they were preparing to take him to ICCJ. I will search further in the ICCJ documents to see if I can lay hand on it.

Very true bro!

The same train of thought you listed here was the outcome in Lagos. In 2015 three Igbos won election into the State House of Reps. It shows Yoruba's inclusion and accommodation for diversity. Back in their home states candidates were excluded simply because they did not belong. Lagos hires and promotes on merit in the civil service. Back in SE they fire and repatriate civil servants back to their home states.

We value diversity, we will drive the campaign for diversity across Nigeria. Those who remain shut to others in their region will equally be shut out in our homeland. Diversity is the engine for the Nigerian unity.

Vote Yoruba Woman as FIRSTLADY IN ONDO!

Thanks bro!
Gbam, see them above wailing, now shouting education. When they were doing it even to their fellow igbos, it is not tribalism. Very hypocritical set of race I have ever seen.

From what Ive seen, if true that Eno Jegede is not Yoruba, both the APC and PDP candidates in Ondo are ineligible to satisfy a Yoruba Woman becoming First Lady. They should be skipped and victory should go to next most eligible candidate.

On the issue of General election and our opportunity for victory. What I hear is that we must preserve the Yorubaman's eligibility and chance of victory at national level by demonstrating our patriotism ahead of 2023.

Does not the Yorubawoman equally deserving of our patriotism in Ondo?

I believe Yoruba will troop out for our son in 2023, regardless of what party is in the respective state houses at that time.

Tell your sisters hawking agbo all over Igbo land to buy nomination forms and contest, they might win.
Nobody is going to call them and dash them elective positions just because they are yerobber. THEY HAVE TO BUY EXPENSIVE NOMINATION FORMS AND TEST THEIR POPULARITY LIKE THE IGBOS IN LAGOS DID.
The ones the bought, what did you do mr gala hawker.

Next time she might be lucky.
Anambra is a state with well enlightened and rich ppl,Anambra has an APGA governor but 2 PDP senators and the 3rd from an unknown YPP.
Not even 1 APGA senator.
Which fail, as if we don't know how they told her to go to Enugu to contest

Lolz.
Looks like I'm arguing with a child.
Nobody said there's no yerobber in Igbo land.
Them plenty well well but what is their contribution to the economy and the society in general?
You can't compare an agbo seller whose wares is worth less than 2 thousand naira or Ade the old school electrician who has refused to upgrade to use of scanners to Emeka whose goes to Lagos to stock his spare parts shop with at least 2 million naira every month.
Emeka makes sure he buys land in the outskirts of Akure once every 2 years and starts building his personal residence and commercial houses in those lands in a few years while Sikiratu with her agbo basin will remain a tenant forever in d ghetto part of Enugu as long as she is in Enugu.
Emeka contributes handsomely anytime funds are being raised for building his church, children's schools, community development while Sikiratu is nowhere to be found on such occasions.
If elective positions come up,Emeka will buy nomination forms at 5 million naira and is already known as a giver and philanthropist while Sikiratu needs palliative herself grin
Coming to living outside their homelands, the Chinese who are found in every nook and cranny of Nigeria, is it also b/c they lack social amenities in their places?
Lol, see this one making himself happy hahahaha

The reason why there is uproar in Ondo is majorly because of the present first lady's overbearing interference in the administration of her husband. However, it won't be same in all situations.

Real men don't give room for such, and at that, Rotimi Akerodolu had below pass mark in separating his family affairs from the state's political administration. At a point in time, he wanted to appoint his son, Babajide as the Chief of Staff which was met with a stiff resistance. Akeredolu has not neccessarily failed his people in overall governance.

The politics of inclusiveness brought us where we are but it is very germane to set a boundary line for those who always choose to deride our ethnic background.

A call for a Yoruba first lady might not go through now, but we can only put much pressure on our government to put Yoruba agenda first in all representations within the region.

If Abba Kyari had not passed on when he did we may never have known much of what went on in govt and when it came out in the open to shock many of us. The outpouring of testimonies on mismanagement in Ondo is instructive. Human nature is unchangeable, however long the depth of acclimatization and assimilation. In simple terms, genetic and ancestral emotions buried within the spirit have a much effect on our responses to situations in the external. We cannot continue to hope and get same result at output....we must take purposeful action and direct our path forward. That path forward must be a solid partnership between Yorubaman and Yorubawoman to salvage the damages done.

No other state in Yorubaland has been tested, harrassed and tested as much Ondo has been with Fulani Herdsmen issues. Falae could have been killed. Mrs Olakunrin (Fasoranti's daughter) was killed. An independent contractor returning from Ondo to Abuja encountered herdsmen with ID card - Ondo Chapter of Miyetti Allah Vigilante. Fulani herdsmen camped in a territory and put up red flag to signal it as their colony.

Aren't we ashamed? These atrocities are possible because the man in State House is not getting backbone assurance on what to do. Aides and assistants to Governor should be the ones in mixed marriages, not State Governor. Where a State Governor has a non-Yoruba wife, it should not be a continuous stream.

Fulani is assaulting Ondo, Ibo is embarassing the govt and the next best contender is also bringing in a SS. Why not just open Ondo governorship contest to all Nigerians?

But you see this goes with what I said earlier.....we are protecting the Yorubaman position and denying the Yorubawoman her entitlement.

If Yorubawoman cannot be First Lady then start throwing the governorship in that state open to Ibomen, Fulanimen, SSmen to contest. What do you think?

Regardless where she is from, if not Yoruba Jegede should be skipped.

This election in Ondo will be about Yoruba Woman occupying the First Lady position.

How can you marry a Yoruba woman?
A Yoruba woman is more likely to poison her husband to death.

A Yoruba woman don't respect the sanctity of marriage.

Once they marry they still prostitute themselves, and will bring bastards to their husbands. The husband knows she's cheating and the husband is also cheating.
A Yoruba woman will have 5 children from 5 different men.
.who will marry a Yoruba women for all these qualities.

The Yoruba elites know these and that's why they reject Yoruba women.

And about that thinking of the children being yorubanized. You lie.

Those children I bet will never understand how to speak Yoruba properly because after English their next language is Igbo. They speak it at home.

I speak to you metaphysical

You have a very valid point and I don't for once doubt your sincere concern for the people of Ondo, Yoruba at large and our sovereign country.
Realistically, galvanizing votes along this line is a task insurmountable for this forthcoming election due to reasons such as

1. Incumbency factor : The ruling party which also hold ace at the federal are caught in this quagmire and risk loosing the coveted seat.

2. The 1st alternative option (PDP) that could have been resorted to have been enmeshed in same situation.

3. A third force must have set the ground running for a long period just like Otoge in Kwara (won in all local governments) which began more than a year before the election day in order to come out glaringly victorious and forestall any internal or external rigging plot.

The issue at hand is like the proverbial bone which got stuck in the neck. It must be carefully dealt with, in tactical patience. After its ease, the youth can be strategically sensitized on its danger, how it has affected us and the reason to never allow such around the corridor of power.

Our option FROM NOW ON, is to waylay both parties primary election before 2024 having continuously resonated the importance of our submissions, and how it is taking a toll on the growth and development of our ethnicity to present unmixed candidates. sad
