Did any one read the ministers comment before posting. We seem to let our emotional bias get the better of us

Same NASS which ipob lunatics have been calling "rubber stamp" will, in this case, become the best NASS after lamidi cownu.

Even if NASS can't produce this Terms of Agreement (which of course they can't), ipob animals must create one for them.

Las las, Igbos are stark illiterates. undecided
What are you even saying?! How many members of the National Assembly understand Chinese's writing. It was alledged in the past that these loans agreement were written in Chinese , do you now understand Chinese because of 30k.

That muthafvckin thief that calls him "Amaechi" should be remanded in Kirikiri until he surrenders the documentation.

Only in Nigeria, a thief gets awarded higher position (instead of prison inmate NUMBER) after looting his state for mroe than 8 years. Before, he was looting only Rivers. Now he is given the opportunity to loot the whole of Nigeria. SHAME.

you are very dull and uneducated, am a Rivers man and Amaechi is the best governor of Rivers State, come rain come sun. he has done what no governor has done in Rivers State, so. go accuse your God forsaken State Governor

The explanation Amaechi gave is very logical and thankfully, we are actually seeing the fruits of all the loans.... Unlike previous governments that collected loans and had nothing to show for it. Take it or leave it, Amaechi has been the best transport minister in Nigeria..... Whether your hatred let u see am or not no concern me

Finally I found a Nairalander with an intelligent mind. Good bless you bro.

The Minister now receives signals from China but when asked if he was involved in the agreement, he claimed ignorance of this and passed everything to Minister of Finance. Claiming he was only involved in signing agreement with CCECC.

Now, he has signal receiving antennas from China. Na wa o....

This government keeps trying to appear nice but in the real sense keep deceiving us.
Re: China Loan: Ameachi Challenges NASS To Publish Terms Of Agreement by Elvictor: 1:51pm On Aug 01, 2020
Amaechi should ignore them, they don't like any form of development. they are scheming to be awarded the contract so that they will abandon it, I trust Amaechi. one kobo no go enter their hands, there will no cut for your pot-belle idiots in that house. do you think Ministry of Transport is NDDC, you have to re-think because Amaechi will give you reasons to.

Abachas loot was designated for some ongoing project (Lagos-Ibadan road, Second Nigeria bridge and another project) that was the agreement before US government released funds. I don't agree the rail is substandard as you stated but they should tune down the loans in other not to create burden for incoming government. You expect China to give loan without clause?
It's all part of the cluelessness we have been shouting since 2015. The say people that shared millions of dollars of Abacha's loot from Swiss govt to friends and cronies in the name of "poorest of the poor" actually forgot that they needed money for railway development.

That's not the yardstick for National matters. Thinking this way is really wrong. The same way Fashola was seen as a super governor but didn't deliver up to expectation when he had 3 ministries merged as one to handle.

National interest is the major here not Rivers interest. If you watched the interview by the National Assembly, you will know that everything done on that floor was on National interest sake and has nothing to do with being a governor from Rivers or an APC member.

May God help us in this country for us to take National matters above any other form of interest

don't quote me without knowing why I replied that way, I am not against the probe by National Assembly. Amaechi has challenged them to make the documentary public, but how on Earth did they approve it without going through it properly and now coming to haunt what they agreed on earlier, don't you see those greedy dogs in that house are looking for cuts the way they usually get from NDDC.

Honestly anytime Igbos complains against something and Nigeria goes ahead and does it anyway, it always ends up in major disaster.

Buhari is a good example.

Nnamdi Kanu is only deceiving those who want to be received ok, NASS is not IPOB but NASS is now probing the same loan and asking questions, does it not indicates that something is wrong somewhere (APC is
majority in the NASS). All of us know that IPOB have absolutely no say in the affairs of this country and can't influence any decisions by the NASS. We are still battling over a bad loan of the previous administration from UK government and this is happening now; incoming administration may not honour this loan. Founders of PDP are still founding fathers of APC (El Rufai, Amaechi, Masari, Tony Mormor Okorocha etc). PDP and APC are the same, look at Obaseki and POI. IPOB has nothing to do with this issue, stop elevating IPOB with the failure of our politicians, thank you.

what is their that people don't understand. Can you read between the line? Amechi himself is complicating issues here. Talking with two side of his mouth, which one we ought to believe. Is the clause he claim is a universal standard for requesting for loan or effort he has made to service the loan repayment ti the turns of 96 million dollars. He need to get his facts straight l guess he's hiding something.

Abacha alone stole more than what we are trying to borrow from the Chinese.
This probe is probably motivated by politics and not the interests of Nigerians.
The Nigerian national assembly is probably the most expensive in the world. Each senator in Nigeria is paid more than the US president per annum.
