Do not listen to all these noise about Medical or IT field. There are people who are doing great irrespective of their field of study and there a few Nigerian trained lawyers who have being called into their provincial bars in Canada. One of the biggest law firms in Calgary, Osuji & Smith, is owned by a Nigerian who trained in Nigeria.

That said, my advise for you is to look within and think of what you really want to do. If you love law and want to practice abroad, read up the process about becoming a lawyer in your proposed country and follow through.

I would also advice you not to drop the idea of going to Law School. Live as though your only chance is living and making it in Nigeria while you make plans on relocating through a legal means.

This good man here has said almost all I had in mind. But to add, don't shelve your law school plans, it would atleast add to your experience and CV, and perhaps you might need it later you never can know...

Since you are from a privilege home, endeavor to leave for Canada immediately after your law school, but start your home work now to be sure of what you can best do when you get to Canada. Study route might be the best, but not the only route for you..
