Just wow!

I bet my NYSC certificate that most of these animals are more intelligent than supporters of a certain political party in Nigeria that use a 'home cleaning appliance' as their insignia.
I bet my 10 Kenyan shillings, I don't understand what you are saying. Can you expatiate, please?

Interesting! That camels own is surprising. See the mouth sef grin

Never seen a close-up image of a buffalo. Is that a bird perching on it's face? sad

Anyways, there's one animal that is a total opposite of this. Doesn't keep grudges. Infact the more you discipline it the more it loves you.

Doesn't matter how much my mum beats them, they're always the first to go welcome her wagging their tails.

Man's best friends. But they can do anything to keep their owner safe. That's not revenge, that's protection. undecided

Say the name: DOGS kiss kiss

Oh I love Dogs cry kiss
Dogs do hold grudges, infact they're the worst...
But only against mean strangers.

First your nysc certificate is not relevant to anyone, so keep your property. Secondly, what did the main opposition party offer in sixteen years they have mismanage our common patrimony. APC na wayo, while PDP na barao, they are all bracketed, no tata 4 yonyon

The day mother hen caught me as I mistakenly stepped on one of its chicks is the day I knew how vengeful mother hens can be. The way it pursued me and the way I ran, one would think I was being chased by a Lion. I was nine years old then and up till today I still avoid hens moving with their chicks.

Interesting! The one we should really take note of is dogs. This is from first hand experience. I had a mixed breed dog.... not big... but was the most feared dog in my street.... doesn't bark much... always kept in the yard. Should you try to enter... he will turn his back and walk away harmlessly and most times lay down as if tired and about to sleep. When you enter... close the gate.... and get like ten steps into the yard that's when he will suddenly launch an attack. If he gets on the street... and decide to lay on the street... for cars or motorcycles... he will get up.... should you ride a bicycle or walk or run too close to him... sorry be your name.
This one guy... our neighbour's family... always pass by and tease the dog from the street. One day.. the dog was on a leash.... a bunch of kids were playing in the yard... running around the house all the while passing close to the dog. This very guy joined the play from behind the house..... I didn't know this.... all I knew was as the kids ran pass the dog for like for the hundredth time.... the dog suddenly launched an attack ... bursting the leash and was after the screaming kids. I immediately chased after him only to find him on top of his teaser who already had several bites all over his body. The dog singled him out and for yearsss.... I always wondered how he knew he was in the group.
Fast forward.... working here doing deliveries.... often delivered to this office... street level... glass door entrance... one step in... counter... Mexican clerk always on point. The owner has a dog like a huge pitbull...mastiff?....always laying around in the office behind the counter. One day... delivering as usual... the dog got up and started this slow walk from the back on way to the front..... that walk was the kind of walk my dog did before launching an attack.... calmly told the clerk... but with a kind of urgency in my voice..."hold the dog".... he said not to worry... he wouldn't do me anything. I repeated hold the dog which was now about 8 footsteps close to me... i hit the door exit button to unlock the door.... backed it open and the dog immediately launched an attack as I shut the door close. He settled the dog and came out to me puzzled asking how I knew he was going to attack. I told him. Then he said to me .... whenever I come.... I should not come in because the dog will remember my scent for life and will attack.
It was only then that I understood why my dog singled out his teaser from the crowd.

Turkey
This one is a true story. True cos it happened to me when I was very little. I was in primary 4 and we were living in a fenced house. We had a dog called jack, a goat called Africa, poultry birds and turkeys. I remember always playing with all our livestock including the big cock turkey. As a kid back then I sometimes treat these animals violently although to me I was just playing. Unknown to me that the turkey held a grudge.

I was running an errand one day when the turkey flew at me, scratched me and also pecked me. I thought it was our regular routine of fooling around. Sorry turkey no time for play iam on errand. Until I came back from the errand and the turkey attacked me the second time. This time I was injured. I then realized the turkey was seeking revenge.

I was surprised at first how a bird like turkey could recognize faces to be able to tell who is who cos I told my mum and grand ma our turkey has gone violent but every one I told debunked my story and went on their normal life. I studied the turkey for close to 2 weeks and noticed it wasn't attacking any one else but me. But why me?

This continued for years until the turkey ended in its final resting place in our family pot one new year day. Ever since that day I do not treat even animals unfairly.

There's a snake named Bushmaster..... a verrrrry large pit viper in South America. People who be in the jungle... miners and forresters fear this snake and avoid killing them. Word is.... if you kill one... its mate will somehow track you down and kill you.

I think you are right, Dogs always remember your scent for life, since your scent dont actually change.
Dogs also nurse a grudge once they hate you and dont fear you but whether they forgive like humans, is what l cannot say. grin

I have five Tenants in a Building fo six Flats. I have a Dog from when it was a Puppy, for my youngest daughter.
There is this particular Tenant that the Dogs hate him and his wife like 'wetin'!
I have tried to make the Dog like all my Tenants by handing over the Dogs food to them, to give to it so it can get used to them, take-in their scent and then gradually, they come closer to it and rub its head and generally he can identify their scent and not bark at them when they come inside. This has worked for everyone except this one tenant.
Most times Dog is on leash but at night, we release it to exercise round the gated compound overnight grin grin
Some Tenants come home late and open the gate with their Key so that has always been a challenge.
But over time, the Dog has gotten used to everybody who lives in the compound and will even guard the Two year old son of one of them, like it was one of his puppies grin They like each other so much and we roll on the floor together.

But once the Dog smells this particular Tenant and his wife come inside like this, even without seein them eyt, all hell will break lose. It will just go beserk.
Dont know why but l can remember that when he just moved in, he called the Dog a stupid Dog when it was barking at his wife and since that day, the hatred between the two of them and the Dog, is like Obaseki and Oshiomole, omebody has to leave for the other.
Even before he steps out in the morning, the Dog knows he is about to come out and starts barking like it saw a thief!
His Cloths are also not safe on the Drying line, the Dog will select his cloth and taer it into shreds, then lie down on it, as if saying "come and collect it if you fit". shocked angry

I guess l will have to advise him to seek alternative accomodation because we dont have a Mai-Guard and it is the Dog that does that job when everyone has one to work or sleeping at night, so the Dog is not going anywhere soon. undecided
