Redmi 8 won't get Android 11, android 10 is your bus stop, you have MIUI 13 and probably MIUI 14 to get

is this a screenshot or a shot taken from another phone? If it's a screenshot, then I don't think it's a hardware issue (means even if you change your screen it will still be there)...

lol. This is software na. If na hardware you won't have that mark there when u take screenshot.

my Redmi Note 7 eventually got android 10 this afternoon but to my greatest chagrin, it's still MiUI 11.1 instead of Miui12.
what's happening now?

secondly, does anyone sell the back glass of RN7. mine fell on stone this afternoon while taking a walk.

Is this a screenshot? If it is then should not be a screen issue.

Have you done a hardware test? Might not be hardware related.

Did you see any RN7 that got Android 10 on MIUI 12 or was there any rule that said all phones on Android 9 eligible for update will get Android 10 together with their MIUI 12 updates?

Android 10 first then MIUI 12, same applies for Redmi 8

If this is a screenshot, then it's a software issue because a hardware issue won't show in the screenshot. Try reverting to stock theme or re-boot let's see.

Android 11 based on MiUI 12 from September? False information

Android updates are not tied to MiUI variants. MiUI 12 is already in rollout and most devices won't get a stable Android 11 until year's end or next year.
