I guess the mechanic is still on point. I'll see if I can still bargain more with the seller. Thanks for the input.

However, I'm just scared to drive the car to oyingbo, ordinary u-turn dey scare me like crazy. Was driving home late last night and I was just asking God to help me reach home safely.
Use dispatch riders if you are not comfortable driving it down there.

Our body system has a way of shutting down and getting rest sha. This morning I was out early, parked at my usual spot for an hour plus, no request. I decided to change location, I tried to start the car and my car key broke. Immobilizer no gree allow car start, after several attempts I managed to start the car and came back home to take the spare key.

I should have just taken the key and bounced out immediately o, I decided to see what’s happening in the TV, wrong move. I slept off there. Na now I just they wake grin

I find it so disgusting and dissapointing that till now, most of you drivers are very dull and stuppid.

In real life, most of you should be in the village pecking woods and not in Lagos. Can you imagine? 4k just like that?

I am not saying I am the smartest or the wisest but men... common... I don't know why I hate stuppid and vulnerable people with passion. I don't give them any chance at all. I hate weak people so much because if you are weak, you can't survive. Not to talk of when someone is trying so hard to bring you up to speed with what is happening in the city.

Sorry to be this blunt but If any of you were to be my drivers and tell me these stories... The kain slap I will woze you won't be here.

Like... How do you allow yourselves to be scammed and you come to report on Nairaland? Is Nairaland the state CID?

Or is it that you are confident that once anybody cheats you, you are going to paste the number and the money magically appears? Do you buy credit for anybody?

Why put yourselves in situations where you have to come online to beg people to make call for you?

After repeated warnings for years and some drivere are still cheated, anybody that wastes his time or credit to call those scammers does not have anything to do with his money or credit.

Bros I will not say U re lying ooo but maybe dats was d info U too were fed with from d Developer or from d Board, but I can tell U dat d info of first 40 trips is wrong.

Wen I started on Taxify, dat tym I was still very naive on Taxify app, so on a faithful Wednesday evening I was at home and I decided to do some evening /night runs, went straight to Luth(Idi araba), grin grin a request came in, my naive self I did not ask of Riders destination. The next convo Happened

Driver: sorry which side re we going

Rider: my mom is d one going, just start the trip

Driver: (started trip) saw Ipaye (after checking Google map I saw dat place is after alakija), I told my rider I can't go that dey shud find anoda ride respectfully.

Ended trip there and zoomed off

B4 getting home my Ratings dropped to 4.41 straight( d rider rated me 1star straight), I just weak and blamed myself for coming out, slept straight up and learned my lesson. ( Next Tym if U had started d trip just end it and click on trip did not happen, no commission loss, no fear of bad Ratings)

So bottom line is dat the app is ready to take ur Ratings down at any instant but for d upward movement self is still first come first serve.( Is easier to go down but very hard to climb up)

Now my Ratings is on 4.9... mind U I Neva for once begged for Ratings from Riders but I make sure riders don't take 5 star from me either.. if U re very very good 4 star, normal is 3 star... Rest 2 and 1 star.

Last last U must be wise and streetwise!!!

This is very accurate, this is the way ratings works all over the world. Be it ehailing or others

My last partner was/is on this thread

He never met me, and i never met him
He doesn't know what I look like, and I don't know what he looks like
We communicated mostly through chats and not calls

He didn't even demand for any guarantor from me

He just met me here, and gave me his key..

Disappointments don't utterly mean failure. It could be the Universe keeping you for the right one

Very similar with my driver, besides the day I gave him keys, the second time I met him was when I needed to handover original papers to him in February after he bought the car after running rental for a year. I had no idea where he lived and he didn't provide any guarantor.

10 WAYS POLYTRON IS CUTTING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE COSTS AND IMPROVING PERFORMANCE

Polytron products are different from any other lubricant or additive, using proprietary metallurgical technology to smooth and harden mating surfaces at microscopic levels to reduce friction and wear by up to 95%.

From industrial machinery to fleet cars, adding Polytron to motor oil or lubricant dramatically improves performance and extends equipment life while slashing fuel, oil and maintenance costs.

Here’s how Polytron does it.
1. Eliminates 95% of Engine and Equipment Wear, Extends Life by 400% To 700%

Polytron’s field-tested technology eliminates the microscopic irregularities which create friction between moving surfaces. By hardening and smoothing mating surfaces, Polytron practically eliminates friction and wear, extending engine life.

2. Keeps Moving Parts Clean of Varnish and Carbon Deposits

Carbon and varnish buildup on valves, pistons and other surfaces is virtually eliminated, slashing maintenance costs and eliminating unexpected downtime due to clogged fuel injectors or sub-optimal engine performance. Fuel system life can be extended by 200%.

3. Extends Oil Service Life and Oil Change Intervals by 300% To 600%

Polytron’s extreme friction reduction technology keeps internal engine parts clean and intact, which reduces the metal particles in motor oil, extending oil life. Longer oil service life means less frequent oil changes, which means you are ordering less oil and spending less staff time on maintenance.

4. Provides Temporary Protection in the Event of Oil or Coolant Loss

By smoothing and hardening mating surfaces to eliminate friction, engines continue to function normally following catastrophic oil or coolant loss, allowing time to self-transport to repair facilities, preventing expensive damage (often leading to equipment replacement) and extended downtime.

5. Lowers Operating Temperature and Fuel Consumption

Carbon buildup affects operating temperature and reduces fuel economy. Polytron keeps engines free of buildup and reduces operating temperatures, cutting fuel costs and helping avoid heat-related damage and breakdowns.

6. Lowers Equipment Maintenance Costs up To 65%

By reducing the need for oil changes, reducing carbon buildup, lowering operating temperatures, eliminating wear and guarding against damage due to oil or coolant loss, Polytron can cut overall maintenance costs by as much as 65%.

7. Makes Combustion Cleaner and More Efficient

Less friction and wear, cooler operating temperatures and no carbon buildup mean efficient combustion and much cleaner emissions. This could mean passing a smog test easier or gaining a competitive advantage if you run a large operation!

8. Maintains High Performance in Severe Conditions of Dust, Dirt, Moisture

By hardening and smoothing mating surfaces at the microscopic level and practically eliminating all friction, Polytron increases efficiency even in enabling the most severe operating environments. This makes Polytron the perfect solution for military equipment, mining equipment and other equipment operating in extreme conditions.

9. Effective in Transmissions, Differentials, Power Steering and More

Polytron can cut costs and improve performance in any equipment requiring lubrication of mating surfaces.

10. Cuts Operating Costs for Fleet Cars, Light and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Marine Vessels, Mining Equipment, Farm Machinery and More

With its ability to improve efficiency through reduced friction and wear, extend oil life, improve fuel economy, reduce maintenance, reduce operating temperatures, produce cleaner emissions, and improve operability in severe environments, you can apply Polytron in virtually any setting and with any equipment.

Certified field studies and signed references continue to pour in to Polytron from around the world verifying the revolutionary performance and dramatic cost reductions we deliver in a wide range of industries.

In my own opinion and logical thinking .. Once a car owner is able to buy good quality oil brand from the USA . There should be enough additive to protect their engine. A good quality full synthetic oil should be good enough for 7k to 10k miles oil change . That should be good enough to protect the engine .... Now if car owners cant get good quality engine oil to buy , than maybe polytron addictive might be a good alternative to add to the less quality oil .. I really dont know much about the product or try the product to give an honest verdict on it. .....

Just to name a few .. All these brand oil should be good enough to protect your engine without additional oil additive .. Now, polytron product might be excellent for other machinery engine .... Again this is my opinion on the matter.

last week most banks were having issues. Transfer keep reversing. They did transfer, I saw his debit alert. I guess it reversed. The guy has refused to pick my calls. A female rider did N2,600 to me last week. In the evening she called me that it has reversed that I should send my account details to him. Once I suspect u, I don’t let u go. Uber and Bolt should make it compulsory for all riders to add their ATM card to the app and make sure they use card payment at least once for verification.

Guys kindly help say a word of prayer to my Madam....

She is a very private person, she is on Nairaland and I believe she might be following this group because she picked my number from here when I was looking for HP

My baby boy (11month old) was very ill, started since Friday but got worse over night...we took him to the hospital and after some test and diagnosis..I was asked to make a payment of 150k..... I was down and swept every where and was able to raise 50k plus..after several calls to some friends and close family that I can approach...the outcome was still negative...so summoned my mind to call my partner for a loan of 100k to be paid in installment with my weekly remittance. Lo and behold my people my madam and hubby rather gifted me 50k...

Words can't express how grateful I felt....

I quickly deposited 100k to balance up before my boy is discharged ....

Hitting the road to keep the hustle going

Mrs B God will surprise you and your family with blessings and favour now and forever.
thanks Mrs B, we love you. God bless all that concerns you, you will never lack.

Boss I thought about that too. But let me run this scenario, why will Microsoft create Virus and at the same time create the Antivirus software too and Apple product dont have the same virus issues.

The answer is just simple the Whites keeps developing at every instances.
This Polytron thing was developed for military hardware to withstand the harsh weather of arid and unfavourable weather conditions that might affect the driving output of most of their machines.

It was introduced into normal vehicles and the result was superb.

Again boss it was developed by the Americans and they dont use mineral oils like us and they still recommend it for their vehicles too.
