Mhen your ignorance is alarming. Same China that just took over some Zambia national assets

Why not sit for a moment and ask yourself why china's neighboring countries are doing every thing to wade off china's influence, from Taiwan to hongkong ,Mongolia ,there all know China for who they really are

Amazing how someone without a basic knowledge of history or even current affairs will call me ignorant.
I don't waste my time with folks like you.

Nigeria politicians are too corrupt!
Stupid Amaechi and his bad attitude! First of all, the committee chairman is not pressuring him by asking relevant questions on the $500,000,000 loan as well as the conditions attached to it but as usual Nigeria public office holders and politicians think they are in office to be worshiped by the citizens that they are suppose to serve. Thank you Honorable Ossai Ossai for an eloquent grilling of these fools that plunge our country into this financial mess. Imagine hearing the discussion about ceding Nigeria sovereignty to China if they are in default on the loan repayment agreement!

Your leaders wasted your wealth, leaving you without basic infrastructure.

China was ready to lend you money to treat the F*ck up of your leaders but made sure that your leaders won't do to their money what they did to your money.

Yet some Nigerian are yarning opata. The funny thing is that even young Nigerians are not bothered that Nigeria in 2020 has no functional train transportation routes. Yet, when time the for election comes, they will get Atikulated or Sarakified.

Look, if China gives any country money to build a facility and then it fails to repay, it is only natural that they will take over the facility like our own AMCON does and run to recover their money and interest. At least, the facility is in the country, providing jobs. There is price to be paid for stupid visionless leadership.

Thank you bro.

These youths are both mentally poor and physically poor.

if AMCON can take over people's property over a loan default ,I support China on this they should take over the train station built with their money even if those who signed the loan looted it their private property should include too .

If Nigeria's debt increased from $7Bn to $23Bn in 5years with a debt to revenue ratio of about 90%, currently battling with recession alongside depression and world poverty capital, with the future of oil dependent economies not looking so good coupled with our massive appetite for corruption, what is the probability we can sustain a debt repayment of 20years?

A better alternative would have been "Build, operate and transfer" amongst private investors whom would share both the ups and downs of the economy how ever way it goes during the period.. as it is , it's still being run by same corrupt Nigerian Government whom can never be trusted.
Well said.

China has a policy of not interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. It has been their policy for a very long time.
The western countries that exploited Africa for 500 years only built infrastructure they needed to steal from Africa and nothing else.

The money that China want to use and buy the sovereignty of the country is just 0.5billion USD. Ronaldo can afford this easily, but the conversation is not Ronaldo now. It's about how cheap and worthless this country is.

Please don't repeat this anymore. It's disgraceful to repeat this ignorant.

All these leaders are just there to loot imagine with the billions of dollars they'll still construct oldsku railways and buy oldsku trains. The type of old railway that pass through agege that cost millions of naira. see dubai their railway hardly pass on land surface it's either underground or overhead and no driver or any operator inside its automatic.whenever the looters travel outside it's not to go and copy the innovation and do same in their country but pack our money and buy properties and save the rest in their bank. Remember no one takes a penny to heaven or hell...
it's Xpol

I guess we agree that only a fool will lend you billions of dollars without an agreement on how to get their money back. There's indeed nothing like a free meal.

Nigeria shouldn't be in the league of nations borrowing money, but here we are.

Let them keep giving useless loans to thieves that will embezzle it and then come back in future to tel us rubbish. That we owe them something. They better take note of the people collecting the money and hold them responsible.
