…assures Ize-Iyamu of their votes

The Market Women Committee of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on Tuesday sensitized traders across major markets in Benin, on the SIMPLE Agenda manifesto of its Edo 2020 Governorship candidate, Pastor Osage Ize-Iyamu.

Speaking at New Benin market, Hon Sweet Ikponmwosa, Organizing Secretary of the committee, said the rally was to tell the traders the plans Ize-Iyamu has for traders if elected Governor.

She criticized the Obaseki-led administration for failing to provide security in market places following a series of fire outbreaks in major markets across the state, while assuring the market women that Ize-Iyamu will implement plans in his manifesto to secure the markets through the provision of a functional lighting system and an effective security network within the markets.

“The SIMPLE Agenda manifesto is about the security of life and property, empowerment, employment, social welfare, good leadership amongst others,” she said.

“We want you to support this change that will make life better for everyone. The present administration has refused to provide security for markets and this has led to the loss of millions of Naira through fire outbreaks.”

“The governor promised to give succor to victims whose goods were destroyed by the fire, but has not fulfilled this promise as I speak today.”

On her part, the Chairman of the Committee, Mrs. Shina Peters, educated the market women on safe ways to participate in the electoral process and the proper way to cast votes on Election Day.

In response, the traders promised to vote for the APC en masse at the polls. They condemned the incumbent government for imposing harsh fines over minor offenses and incessant arbitrary arrests and detainment without trial.

One of the traders, Mr. Emmanuel Chjnedu, said APC under the Adams Oshiomole administration in Edo constructed roads and schools all of which remain in good shape. On the contrary, he said the Obaseki-administration embarked on the imprisonment of market women and commercial bus drivers over minor offenses.

If the market women really want to find out the real 'simple agenda', they should visit the nearest EFCC office and search EFCC's case files for one of it's customers name called Ize Iyamu. All the fraudulent petitions they see around his name is the Simple agenda.

They searched it and it came back to show them, PDP President Jonathan directed PDP Finance Minister Okonjo iweala to release $2b USD to PDP NSA Sambo Dasuki to give people to help them mobilise people to vote PDP and Sambo Dasuki knew only Pastor Ize Iyamu is trusted to deliver and 700m was sent to him

The market women also went to Interpol to ask why Obaseki was detained in Paris and his Tourism Commissioner Osazee jailed, and they got to know Obaseki and Osazee flew $2million USD Edo money cash to Paris in a private jet, and when asked what it was for, the snake Obaseki quickly denied Osazee living him to rot in jail


The market women concluded by asking what exactly Obaseki could point to in 4 years to justify over 500billion naira budgets

I'm sorry but this upcoming Edo election is somehow. E no balance at all. It is as if Ize-Iyamu is the incumbent while Obaseki is the one in opposition in the state. The Ize-Iyamu guy must be very popular and well-grounded for him to be stealing the spotlight from Obaseki with defections right and left.

POI has been going round the state with his Edo-centric agenda while his main opponent is fighting internal and external power-brokers with no clear cut strategy of winning.

His immunity is his only saving grace from prosecution.

Stop believing pictures. Go on YouTube and wacth real people speak.you will see numbers of people decamping from APC to PDP everyday.. Nairaland is biase hence they can't move PDP news to front page.Today alone over 2,000 woman decamped to PDP in auchi,Oshiomoles town,but you will never see it on nairaland.. Are you aware that even Edo state APC chairman has said APC has no candidate in Edo state? Of course you will never see it on nairaland.

I was at ring road today when APC train campaign, no market women came out to hail them, passerby were mocking them. The day PDP campaign train passed, market women came out to hail them. Those doing business in Ring road can testify.
