Adding non criminal skill to a profession is not a crime. Morally, she committed a sin but legally no crime.

Other non blind beggars were not arrested why her? No be her eyes she is playing with? Na your eyes.

In summary, receiving alms as a roadside beggar is not a crime notwithstanding the skill applied.

Begging across roads is a sickness itself hence no judgement.

The best the Govt. can do is to rehabilitate her, after-all she did not steal though a trickiest way to survive the present economic situation. I'm of opinion that the woman can be made better to care for her children. who knows whether she is the bread winner of the family without job, this is the only means she have seen to survive, Honestly it is better than stealing your little arm can help her improve her economic standard of living. Pls send the woman's details on social media, others including me will support & rehabilitate her for a better living.

A Fake blind woman has been apprehended in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital.

IGBERE TV gathered that the fake blind woman was arrested by SA to Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State on Mineral Resources & Environmental Management.

According to an eyewitness who shared the report to IGBERE TV correspondent, the woman who hails from Imo State always beg for "alms at Union Bank Junction in Abakaliki."

According to him," It's her usual practice to apply 'Rob' ointment on her eyes, her eyes responds to the stimuli, she keeps it shut while one of her little children leads her by the hand!"

"She reapplies the balm when its effect on her eyes seem to be waning".

As at the time of filing this report, the Governor's Aide has conveyed the woman to old Government house.
