Hello everyone, good morning. I'm trying to submit my SP application online. I tried like 2 cards, it kept declining my payment. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please I need your assistance. Thanks |

NairaLuck: I'm also in a related dilemma. I've tried paying my application fee for university of Windsor but it keeps showing e-commerce error: invalid card details. I've tried several MasterCard and VISA cards. Any help will be appreciated. N.B: I've used this card to pay for other Canadian universities application fee and there was no problem. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello everyone. Please I need an advice. I got admitted into a university in Quebec with no funding and at the same time got a scholarship into another school in Quebec but i was’t able to secure admission into the school and I eventually lost the scholarship.I was supposed to use the first school admission letter to apply for visa but I deferred my admission to winter 2021.I want to reapply now and cancel my deferment but i would like to know if it’s a good decision since I will have to apply for caq first and I just have a month before ircc stop processing applications for fall 2020. |

NairaLuck:I had same challenge when I wanted to submit mine, I tried Polaris , Zenith, first bank ATM card (all MasterCard) was not working,(Transaction Declined) So I tried someone's ECOBANK ATM Card (MasterCard), and Transaction was successful, A member in this forum also had same same challenge. So it was his sister's STANBIC Bank ATM CARD (Master Card) that worked. Also Try other Bank's ATM CARD And make sure there is Sufficient amount of money there (at least #75k) |

Good morning to you all, Is there anyone who Booked for Upfront Medicals @ IOM, Ikeja, Lagos , If yes, -what effective medium of communication can one use to book for Medicals there(email booking, Online Booking or Phone Call)? - How did you get a response to come for the Medicals? - What are the documents taken to the clinic? - And is there something you will upload in ur profile to notify CIC that you have done medicals? Any additional info about doing medicals at IOM, Ikeja, Lagos will be appreciated Thanks 1 Like |

Lekiboboe: 1. I used their website and it worked fine for me. - https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/ 2. Just your passport. However, if you currently have a medical condition, go with your report and prescription. 3. If it is medical request, they won't give you anything to upload. If upfront, you will get a slip to upload. Further advice: Go early. Book for 8am. Drink plenty of water before the medical screening. Relax. It takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. If you are healthy, you will be fine. 3 Likes |

Hello NL, Good morning. Would It be better if one does upfront medicals or after they request for it? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Nobody: 8:56am On Aug 07, 2020 |
rebeccausoro: Same here too, they said it wud take 3 days for it to reflect, today should be the second day plus. For the pm, I think a request usually goes to your mail first, when u accept we wud be able to communicate privately. |

Osemigho: Osemigho: You can get MEng admission with lower tuition elsewhere. I think University of Calgary tuition for international student in the program is about 16,000. You are likely to get three years work permit with One year masters, while one year college program will get you one year work permit. Both program will help you when applying for PR, but masters is rated higher for that. Osemigho:In respect to the above, please how realistic is it to get three years work permit with a year masters program. Sir, you are in Canada, have you seen anyone who has gotten 3 years PGWP with one year master program. Thanks sir for your prompt response, as it will help clear my thoughts. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by rebeccausoro(f): 9:07am On Aug 07, 2020 |
rebeccausoro: 4. Please do well to go there with proof of payment of medical fees. I did not print my transfer slip and that caused a little delay for me. The officer wanted to send me out to print it but I had to practically force him to print it with the printer in the office. This method may not work for everyone so please go there with the print out of your transfer. Also try to do the transfer two days before your appointment date. It'll make confirmation easy for you. In my case, the officer wrote "Pending" on my progress slip because they were yet to confirm transfer. Save yourself that hurdle. 1 Like |

olasubomy: I won't be able to answer your question but I'll advise you never to indicate that you plan to stay back after your studies in any application you'll submit. I also know that Vancouver has more opportunities but it is also a damn expensive place to stay as a student. |

NairaLuck: I used a zenithbank debit card. It processed the payment successfully in 3 seconds after filling in card details. But I didn't like the experience because there wasn't any sort of authentication prompt. I don't know if others also noticed this |
