There is no Ijaw in cross river state. Ijaw have one LGA in Akwa ibom which is Eastern Obolo. In Edo, there are Ijaws in ovia south and west. In Rivers state, Kalabari, Ibani, Andoni, Engenni and Okrika- wakirike are Ijaws. In Delta state, 5 LGA patani, Bomadi, Burutu and part of warri south west and warri north.

There is different between NDDC states and Niger Delta.

Crude oil was first discovered in the Niger delta that is why the commission is named Niger delta development commission.

I expect govt to renamed it to Oil Producing State Development Commission as other states outside the Niger delta region now have crude oil.
