I have been observing, so let me comment.

I went to my Godfather (PDP) December last year and explained things to him that he must talk with the governing council chairman of a federal university for me.
Luckily for me, they "were" political allies.
He called the man, and the came to his house.
We met, and he collected my CV (with apology for keeping for long).
February this year, he called and sent me the email address of the registrar of the school, that I should forward my application, which I did.
March, his tenure as Governing council chairman elapsed.
Called him ending of March and he asked me, if I had been given the offer.
Few days after, the country was locked down due to Covid-19.

No news yet but he was very welcoming.

What we should do is patiently wait till those persons give her feedback. If it were you, you would have acted more than witholding the recommendation.

Are you now telling me that they're dump to the extent that not even one of them could testify that her claims were genuine? Nwayoma, good evening. If I was in your shoes, I probably would have felt same way if not worse. However, I would just wanna plead that you overlook few that might have not seen through your intentions, rather think of those who are in dire need of your advice.
