Means to loot. There is no need for an airport in Abia state. Sam Mbakwe is right there in Imo state and there is another in Rivers.

Abia is in between these two states.

Who will be using this Abia airport?

Abia poly children, Ariaria traders or the civil servants he hasn’t paid in months?

He should fix the modafuckeen roads in his state.
Funny but true

This project has been in the pipeline since 2013 during the TAO administration. It has been decided that location is sited in the border area axis of Ikwuano, Isiala Ngwa North and Umuahia South LGAs. In fact there had even begun to commence clearing the land before the project stalled.
You are right. Government had to take our lands again without compensation. Let's hope they succeed. The other lands will appreciate in value and commercial activities will be high within that environment.

If not sited in Aba then forget it, this should be a project to resurrect the dying economic vibration of Aba, the important part of having an airport is to help build a stronger economy as it boosts the already existing commercial activities around that region and help in developing the entire state. Why on earth do you want to site it in the bush area around the border of Isiala Ngwa north, Ikwuano and Umuahia south.

The first thing to observe that this is a hoax is that they don't have any specific location of the airport.

In truth, Abia does not need an airport.
They only need to make the road between Owerri and Umuahia very smooth as well as the road between Aba and Portharcourt.

However, if Abia must build an airport, it has to be in ABA to have any hope at all of being viable.
It will then be preferable for business community in ABA and Obigbo to use the Aba airport than Owerri and PH.

But Abia is a weird state, so expect the airport to be in Ohafia, Arochukwu or Ubakala grin grin grin grin
Where it will be overgrown by weeds two days after commissioning.
What the east needs is a train station between states just like what Lagos to Ibadan has...this wan wey dem dey do na white elephant project.

You mean you like competition without sense? Why can't each state play to their own strength? Must everybody have an airport? Lol. Competitive foolishness you people support. You think if he channels that energy into Aba industries he won't be a force for reckoning in the world?
