It still works for me, the kind joy that fills my heart whenever I find myself on island around 4 to 5 pm cant b quantify

And I like finding myself in Ikeja around this time.

Drive close to the airport and set destination to ajah.

Lagos state government can not afford to roll out brand new cars for taxi purpose.
It always doesn’t end well.
Yeah I remember metro taxi and redcab introduced during fashola administration, they all dead and gone.

I blame the Driver-partner community for even accepting LASDRI and HACKNEY permit.

Government never means well for the citizens, especially LASG.

This operating license has always been an Issue right from 2016, but Uber/Bolt did not relent.
The driver-partner community sold themselves out.
That’s what you get when you have hypocrites at the forefront of drivers’ union.

In an nutshell: LASG will win. Uber/Bolt will win. Driver-partner community will loose.

Today ehn! My Musa eyes saw, almost every trip was a battle of musanga, out of the 15 trips I did, cancellation fee 4 times, it got to a point of picking a battle date with a rider (Tho I won't go, but might consider if Mrjaydee, Felicity0001 or Tojahh follow me). It is well... tho, I knew it's going to b like dis the moment I picked one girl on a 500 naira trip dis morning from one hotel and she was just shuffling thro d bra in her pulse to pay. I don't need any prophet to tell me, I've collected money from grandma's... had I know, I would have jus tell her not to bother grin
I volunteer to follow you. Go without fear bro, when you get there punch the eediot and call me.

I doubt if its truly optional. Though the uber app says both are optional. I have done everything including the character test, yet I am still stuck here (see image). App keeps telling me they'll let me know when its time to take a trip.

Go for 09 Civic because it's maintenance is far cheaper than others and parts are readily available. That's what am using currently jst b ready to increase ground clearance by buying bigger tires.

Lol. I try to avoid picking stuffs to deliver for riders as much as possible. It comes with issues quite often. Some would want the recipient of the item to pay for the trip, recipient may start contesting it, some will say the fare is too high that you branched somewhere else, some foolish ones will not even come to the car to pick it expecting you to bring it to their houses, I can't even touch a riders item let alone taking it to a house, so many confusion.

I rejected three delivery requests this week already. They won't tell you it's delivery and explain properly until you get to pick up, I will just cancel and leave. I no want that kind wahala.

I can only accept to deliver packages on rare occasions depending on the situation, item and rider's manner of approach with detailed explanation. That is, with abeg because I'm not a delivery man. Also, it must be a card trip and I won't touch the package, you drop it in the car, the recipient will come and pick it from the car.
Honestly you nailed it. Uber needs to review all these policies to say the least because I wonder why sb would want me to deliver their pakacge at their door step. The annoying one is that you've to start calling receiver and sender from d same small fare they want to pay.

Even this issue with loads it's beginning to piece me off, what most rider do now is order uber after keke or yellow taxi must have bill them high because if their load but las las uber will charge 400/500 naira for a trip yellow cab or keke must have charged 2k.

That was how I got this request today at pipeline in front of good luck Jonathan estate, drove to pu only to c a guy with two bags of charcoal.
R: pls I'm going to the next b/s
Me: whats inside the bags
R: charcoal.
His hands were even dirty from the stains of charcoal.
M: ha! You shld have informed me na, this will dirty my car.
Rider was trying to convince me it won't while I was thinking about it the next tin was ok cancel if you can't go.

Me that hate hearing that word. I just pulles over in front of the Super market, went to easy myself then came back and was buying roasted corn to eat, all of these is just to allow 5min ellaps oh.

The guy was still there.

Rider: Cancel na.
Me: oh! Sorry I tot u have.
Brought my phone put of the pocket it was remaking about 15seconds. I cancelled on "riders item doesn't fit".

The mumu guy got a bike, carry him load waka.

Nonsense, people you want to come and dirty my car for me plus take AC untop N400.

We drivers too have to be discipline as well if you see trips like that reject them and by the time 4-5 drivers reject the person head will reset.

I concur. Same way I cancel for wait times of over 8 minutes. Uber pays for such, Bolt doesn't. But like you, underlying aim is for riders head to reset, and desist from such going forward.

Like everyone has said, go for the Honda. Experience has thought me that for peace of mind, I should always go for the electronic with wide support. That way maintenance wont be a headache.

Wide support = spare parts and technicians readily available and affordable

Thus

car = Toyota, Honda
Laptop = HP
Phone = Samsung, Nokia, Tecno

I bet you didn’t read to the end.

Car must be brand new or not older than 3 years...

The part that got me is the designated park for e-hailing drivers... as per danfo abi?
What is now the point of it being e-hailing...
Lagos just want to distabilize the market before introducing theirs...

Time will tell.

Do you believe that online page?

Wait let Lagos state release a statement then u will believe it.

The online page is not credible, a group of people claiming union, wrote to PS and PS reply them to come, lets hear wats the problem, and they are using the Lagos state government reply to make false news, so it will look like the union has been working so hard.

How many 3 years old car 2017, did u see on Lagos road?

70% of cars on Lagos road is above 10years.

that's how i get to one PU and discover the lady is going to next stop with abt 50 crates of egg, i was so mad ...this are the jobs of keke maruwa naa..I think uber/bolt should start charging for luggage, that's how i picked one guy from ojuelegba to ikeja, he was carrying plenty car spare parts to ikeja, trip ended 1300 and i am very sure yellow cab will charge noting less than 5K for that trip, when i still dey do my palm oil business i know how much i use to pay to carry cab ard once they see u r carrying load and its business.

Just finished an annoying delivery trip.
When I got to pu, the girl that ordered brought a cake that was to be taken to cmd . I started the trip in her presence to confirm the address. A mosque was used as address *maybe for landmark*. I moved, immediately. Got to the mosque, called who I was to deliver to.
Me: good morning, ........... I’m to deliver a cake and I’m at the mosque.
She: look for number 8
I looked round and number 8 was just after the mosque. I told her I was in front of number 8. 10mins after, I called again to inform her I haven’t seen anyone.
She: what are u saying! U are not in number 8.
Me: ***surprised** ***abi no be number 8 I Dey see? And I already ended trip ooo.
I had to call the lady that ordered to explain. It was then I discovered I was a street away. immediately,I drove to the street, after getting the name.
Called on arrival, she was too harsh. Hian!
I saw someone come out to carry cake.

Me: my money is 2250 *showing her on the app*
She: ok, lemme take the cake and collect money from madam
Me: go and collect before you pick the cake.

As if I knew something was about to happen*

When she left, madam called and said she can’t pay 2250 and will pay 2k.
I just locked my doors and was chilling. I guess people around noticed and came to ask wassup. I explained and someone paid the 250 for her.
