FG formally hands over President’s Marina Lodge to Lagos

ON DECEMBER 12, 20175:15

The federal government of Nigeria has formally handed over the President’s Marina Lodge to Lagos state after 20 years. Mr. Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, transferred the documents of the Presidential Marina Lodge to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode four months after the keys were released to the state. Fashola, at the handover ceremony on Tuesday in Abuja said the release of the property to the state was in fulfilment of the promise made by President Muhammadu Buhari.
