Good evening computer gurus

I just got my laptop Dell latitude e6430 with Windows 10 installed
the charger that came with it worked normally at noon.

At night I noticed than when I plug in the adaptor, the battery light comes on and goes of after few seconds. the laptop has refused to charge, it only shows "plugged in" and it won't charge.

there's no X sign on the battery (it's double cell)
I removed the battery and reinserted, same thing

I powered on the system with no battery it still came on.

I really don't have a spare adapter to know if the adapter is faulty.

Please what could be wrong??

It shows plugged in, but not charging the battery. It's the ac adapter that is malfunctioning. From my experience, It would later charge back, you should try and disconnect the cable plug from the ac adapter and reconnect it back properly. Allow the ac adapter to cool, don't use it in a hot environment

Remove and uninstall the USB driver, then restart the laptop, it'll then reinstall the driver automatically check. Check I'd the external devices are now working if not, goto device manager and update the USB driver.

i actually was doubting the performance of the ac adapter too
for two days now it hasnt even charged, even after disconnecting and connecting the power cable for the adapter
i'll just return the ac adapter on monday abeg

there's problem with that windows 10 set-up files. Get a new windows 10 setup files and copy all the files into the root directory a bootable usb flash drive. Cd/dvd rom drives are slower

it's possible with newer technology or generations. But not possible with older PC. The only way possible to transfer both offline and wirelessly without cable is with bluetooth devices

every pc comes with an internal speakers, unless your internal speaker is faulty, windows 7 should already have the default integrated sound driver for your pc, without installing any driver. You might have an hardware issues. Windows 7 home premium and professional is the best

Because I bought a system of 350gb rom nd 2gb ram and no sound until I use external speakers with it before I can here sounds. Av check the device manager all drivers are completed. I even tried to update the sound driver but the system told me that all sound drivers are working correctly.

Are you talking about a desktop pc or laptop?. All laptop comes with internal speakers, if the sound is not working, that means the speaker is spoilt but will work with an external speaker or earpiece. If all sound drivers are installed properly and no caution, cross or warning signs on the sound drivers in the device manager, then it's the internal speaker

Hello house, my laptop keep sounding noisy whenever I on it and when I connect to it to Wi-Fi the sounds increase then my system will go off. Please what's the solution to this? I'm tired of the noisy sounds coming out from the fan.

For how long have you been using it ? It seems the health of the hard disk is gradually going to the end of it's lifespan. If not, then it's a case of malwares, extensions, a almost full disk space, and other junks. Solution is to format the hard disk and a reload of operating system

Sir it's been a year and 6momths now. But if it's hard disk problem, Why do I still have access to every of my files?? I mean can open any app or any file at all without being denied access.

The only thing is that while running any app or not running anything, after sometime it will just freeze. Until I switch it off and on it again I can't continue any operation.

Sir My mind is telling me it's the processor I don't even know. Please consider everything I said and give a strong conviction as to the problem. I don't want these people here to eat my money or even damage my system. Thank you.

1. if a hard disk is going bad, it doesn't mean it won't work again, it would still perform normally, like accessing your files, folders, running apps and softwares, but the performance will be reduced because the health or strength is getting weaker unlike before. That might be one of the symptoms you are having. The processor has nothing to do with it. And hope you didn't put the hard disk to sleep or to off for some duration of time under windows power or battery management settings.

your problem also seems as a software issue, something is wrong with your windows Os, that's why your system is freezing and having that Blue screen of death message, ''windows is trying to fix some errors for you, this might take some time'' upon restarting it. You need to reset your pc, restore your windows or reinstall it.

Exactly! There it is. Because at some point my system was telling me about my Windows operating System using the BSOD message. Maybe it is as you said here, it may be a software issue .
