That's the price the rider wants to pay.

No haggling of any sort. If you pick a price above wat is being offered, your request will b declined.

Indrive is for riders who r really price conscious.

Not really. They've been instances where I've picked prices higher than what the rider specified and they accepted.

That's strange Sha. Cos that kind of rider has no biz wt indriver in the first place. He for kuku order bolt or Uber.

How can a typical Nigerian rider quote an initial price offer? Then he/she accepts a counter offer that is higher. .

What is wrong with this government sef, now I'm beginning to wonder if this government ever want good welfarism for its citizens.

Imagine, they are demanding for 25m operational licence(that's justifiable tho),
10m annual renewal fee(that's also understandable)

But which one is 10% on every service render by drivers, haa, how much is the company even making, that's like collecting 50% of what the company is making.

They should kukuma take over the company assets and know they are liable for the company revenues.

You want to be collecting annual 10m renewal and still want to be collecting 10% on every service render, chai, this government is nothing but daylight armed robbers.

If they don't want this company, they should come out plain and send them out cux there's no sense in this high tax they are imposing on them....

This is for everyone.

First, I started by admitting to the wrong did.

I was just furious probably because of some bad ride previously experienced. I called this guy twice and took time to explain to him and affirmed him he don't be charged should he cancel I even went further to let him know his destination is off my way cause of curfew (inside Berger). Those of you saying it's wickedness, who is more wicked after all these explanation I gave to him. If police sieze my car what would I say to my partner?? Ok I should give police all the money I've worked all week long abi

I've had some bad experiences like this that didn't turn out well for me at the end of the day. Yes you win some and lose some, but do I have to always be at yhe loosing end all the time? I've done about 8km PU distance just because rider refused to cancel in which my account has bewn flagged for h8gh cancellation.

Now, my balance as at yesterday was above -N15k so cancelling a card trip would have put my account in a very high risk of being blocked. My account was suspended on Wednesday last week s8mply because a rider cancelled after I'd arrived and was charged. Uber said it was because my cancellation rate was above 7%. Let me stop here. So, All of these put together was why I took that decision to start the trip without the guy.

Well, as I woke up this morning I don forget and my conscience has prinked me and I sent him a text apologising and asking for his acct details to trx back his money. If him like make him send if him like make him no send. Me I don move on.

Thank God I eat the N7500 bonus after completing 32trips for the week so my balance is now reduced to about 3k.

Omooshodi thanks jor...na only I understand well but that doenst mean we r bad people.

Bad people don't have a conscience and I'm not a hypocrite who only share the good experience like every other guy here if I do good I don't say it but I come out bold to say all the bad I think I may have done that's felicity0001 for you all. And in any case it goes I make sure never regret my actions.
bro, i pray for a breakthrough for you....sometimes, frustration can make a good man turn bad....keep calm bro, trust God...all will be well....

Nice submission. What I see here is the Personal and political interest of our government

No doubt, there is someone behind the mask pushing for all this nonsense. There are no jobs and these companies came in to help the youths, yet the government is not happy about it.

I think nothing will change in this country until the YOUTHS stand up and fight for their FREEDOM.

It is well.

Tell ur friend to stick to his 60k pay job not even at this present time of uncertainty surrounding ehailing. He can get a loan to add to the 300k he already had, having in mind to pay down the loan with his 60k salary. No stress, no pressure. He would be fine to hustle with thr car at his leisure time.

Its not all Nigerians that are typical. More so, it could be a factor of different reasons:
Time of day
Location
Rider is comfortable with your offer but decides to try
something lower first
Rider is running late

Lagos state government is bent on killing e-hailing business.

https://www.nairaland.com/6046386/uber-bolt-drivers-face-uncertain

Please, let's get set for any unfolding.

This thing is real and could affect the business. These ehailing companies are taking the matter seriously. Got a call from an indriver rep. today, some lady with a foreign accent. She wanted to know:

If am aware of the governments new policy?
If I know what the governments intentions are ( which of cause is to start collecting commissions from the ehailing companies)

Also requirements from the drivers
She asked if I have the lasdri card (I answered yes)
If my car is nothing less than 3 years old. (I answered no)

There's really going to be some serious shake down...drivers get ready.
