Studying patterns and movement with fundamentals to know which is maybe the top 3 or 5.
Earlier this year, before the recent focus on online education stocks, #ARCE ranked #1 on Zacks.
Says a lot about their fundamentals.
#CHGG has a great market sentiment and is doing great too.
Amazingly, education stocks are not as cheap as one would generally think.

I have learnt trading penny stocks is even more volatile.
When you win, you win big.
When you lose, na die!

So I trade with stocks I can hold or at least sell and still recover some dough to regrow should the play go the other way.

Just today, I was going through my trading journal and laughed at some penny stock play like when PLUG was a penny stock.
Bought it 28th Nov 2019 at $3.99.
Sold it 10th Dec 2019 at $2.99 at $107 loss.
At today's price of $11.77, that would have been about 300% profit!

I realised I dont have the patience for them especially if I don't have enough convincing information about their fundamentals.

That said, I bought NIO as a penny stock initially trading it up and down but then began to buy and hold and watched it grow out of penny stock range because I eventually kept seeing how good it can become in the future.

So I trade penny stocks, but am very selective.
Not the careless picks you find Robinhood traders bandying about with all due respect to them.

I will advice you develop a model that automates the recording with very very minimal input.

Let me know if you need help on this as i am ready to share the one i develop for myself.

On the contrary, Apple at current levels is not overvalued. We talking largest market cap on the bourse with cash reserves exceeding $200b!!!!

Its good to be liquid but excess liquidity is bad. It makes no sense siting on a large pile of cash without using it to generate value for shareholders. Also, the past success enjoyed by the company from the unveiling of their iconic Iphone brands to me, seems to be over due to tough competition and gross imitation by the Chinese.

Therefore, there is need to exercise caution and not be carried away by the old glory of the company. Note that Iphone is their cash cow and if its sales is now threatened by competition and trade war between US and China (with china being their biggest market), your guess is as good as mine.

For me, i still maintain that Apple is overvalued as such the price needs to fall drastically.

Apple.makes.more money from its services than products. For the last two quarters revenue and earnings from services has risen very fast while that from products has slowed down. So if the sales of iPhone is affected by Chinese competition, Apple is already two steps ahead of that. Microsoft alone pays Apple $7bn annually to be used exclusively on Apple products. A company that recorded its best ever quarter when others are reporting a 90% decline in revenue (not income), I dont think Apple is overvalued.
