which of the picture you want?

The one with Brenden Rodgers drilling Iheanacho or him having breakfast with all the coaches and their assistants in all the leagues in England?
Many years ago one of my friends came from Lagos to visit me.

As is normal l took him to watch a match it was Everton playing Arsenal. As was normal l took him to the players lounge ( very restrictive access) He was in a state of shock, managers and players. He wanted to take pictures, but sometimes it makes it look like you are really not supposed to be there.

He was saying to me, nobody will believe me OH, when I get back to Lagos. So l did arrange a few pics for him with players.

Your comments remind me of him, because it's very hard for you to envisage it becomes UNBELIEVABLE to you. A reflection of your own level and network.

now you are hitting my point! Dominic after his exploits at U20 level didn't improve on that potential so on what basis could we have judged how good he was in senior club football and compare if he's better than anyone? it will be like me saying hudson-odoi is better than so and so player when he hasn't yet shown any reasonable form at club level to judge him by.

guys like TAA, Saka, Foden were also involved in youth level football for england but their outstanding performances in their various teams have clearly stood them out.

komekn:
Absolutely yes.

However, when we are talking U20 football in Europe you will find almost 99% will be playing first team football and in a good number of cases regular first team players.

For instance look at how many years of first team football Dominic Iorfa had when he was playing for England U21.

If you notice l used the diction potential and indicative l did not say conclusive.

With Sadiq it was indicative but in first team football part at Rangers he was completely
abysmal. He has gone to a very low level league and he is perfoming. But has he improved or is that just his level❓

Doesn't always have to be about football, a 17-18 yrs old boy that is leaving Africa for Europe where he has no family, friend or even foe don't you think it will take a little bit of time for him to adjust psychologically?
Absolutely 100% agreed without question in addition.

Players from Africa have not had the same level of hight quality training will not even have the same awareness and technical understanding.

In top academies boys start at U6 with top notch facilities. By age 8/9 they are training 3/4 times a week and going on football tournaments across Europe.

But do you know what, FOOTBALL IS IMPATIENT and there is no sentiment or understanding and or leeway given to you in the name of extenuating circumstances. Nobody will make exceptions for you because you had a disadvantage in early life. IT IS HARSH.

It's similar, if you take JAMB and you only got 200 because you live in Ajegunle and went to a very low level school and somebody went to Lekki British School and had additional private tuition but got 365.

Do you think they will give the candidate Special consideration because he was disadvantaged. I do not think so.

Football is like that, l tell players the reality of the situation irrespective of their background. I don't give them a fairy tale. I prepare them for WAR, you are black you MUST BE CLEARLY BETTER.

I have been to Antwerp and seen many shattered football dreams, those players are now washing cars for a living and too ashamed to return back home.

I could add that l clearly understand what individual clubs are looking for in players as well as the corrupt deals that make it happen.

African players do have one big advantage they are very wiling to sell thier soul and spirit to agents and others just to get in. I do not blame them they are coming from very very desperate situations. Very few if any European born player will do that.

Dominic had won an outstanding accolade as an U20 player. It's not conclusive but highly indicative of quality and potential.

But Osimhen's U17 exploits is not an indication of quality and potential.

Dude has 3 surgeries on his right kneel and one on his shoulder. Came back to Lagos to recover and had malaria.
Injury is part of football.

How long was he Injured for at Wolfsburg 2 yearshuh

You are bending the truth backwards to present an untruth. He played a few games in the first team prior to that he had trained for how long and played in the youth team.

After a few games in the first team he was found to be poor and was sent back to the academy to learn more. He was simply not good enough.

True Lukaku scored some goals however he didn't arrive in London having posted better stats or performances than Osimhen has managed prior to going to Naples.

And more significantly though Lukaku hardly scared anyone when he arrived in West London. The only people he might have scared were the Chelsea faithful who feared here we go again we've been sold another myth.
Can you tell me any 16 years old that are starting for Anderlecht and scoring 15 goals in the league. He increased his goal tally at 17 years of age but increased it to 17.

At 18 he was the understudy to Drogba but not give any opportunity he goes to WBA essentially ripped the EPL apart. From WBA to Everton to Manchester United to Inter Milan. He has been scoring and dominating every league he has played in since age 16.

This dude is an enigma absolutely world class.

Him and Victor Osimhen are worlds apart. You are talking complete Balderdash

It's obvious he is not rated in Leicester and the want somebody better.

Finally, no team will pay his wages in the EPL for a largely impotent striker. His best option is to go to Turkey if he wants to get the same money the tax regime makes it possible.

If he takes a huge pay cut he will get a club in the EPL lower level and or Championship. But then he might get found out and his value further plummet.

I am impressed. Our players should be playing in the best leagues, no more room for tier 2 league players. Aribo and Ejaria should better get off those yeye leagues they play in.

From the laliga, if Nwakali gives me a stat equal to or slightly below what Aribo gives me from that mushroom Scottish league, I would send Aribo back to the bench for Nwakali.
Dude has done nothing for 5 years he is in a moi.moi team in La Liga thats going nowhere and he is not even a regular yet. He can't even say he was pivotal to their gaining promotion, he was more of a spectator.

They are on very high odds to be relegated again back to the Segunda. They team level is not even mid table of championship.

Omeruo and Awaziem played in La Liga does that automatically make them quality players. I do not think so. There team was relegated a reflection of quality I guess.

Lukaku was just an 18 year old kid when he arrived London ,what type of stats do you really expect that’s better than 1 goal in every 2 games while at the Belgian league ?

I do not see him tearing up Seria A.

If he can score 13 goals he would have done exceptionally well in my opinion. However, the club expectations considering his transfer fee means anything less than 20+ will be considered failure.

Getting a huge transfer fee is one thing living up to it is another.

What is your measurement for " tearing up Seria A" are you expecting him to be the top goal scorer or if that's too much among the top 5, how many goals do you expect him to score in the league.huh

So that we can have a measurement to hold you to when he tears up the league. Please state your expectations.

Rangers will be playing in Europe and competing with the best. What will Huesca be doing preparing for relegation.

Rangers will flog Huesca not just beat them, this is the Rangers that Villareal could not beat over two legs. Meanwhile Villareal and Huesca are not on the same level in any way.

Nwakali is reaping where he did not sow he got a free ride to La Liga without making any real contribution.

When we talk of players getting promoted we talk of player's who were pivotal to that promotion and the success hinged on theit contribution.

For instance Tega Onomah in Fulham and Fred Onyedinma in Wycombe Wanderers.

Not an anonymous player who had done nothing but continously over hyped based on wind and fresh air.
