Tear gas, pepper spray, flogging, kicking, punching pushing and general beating of Nigeria traders, even Pregnant Nigeria woman.

It is time Nigeria Government call to Ecowas attention the violation of Nigeria rights by Ghana authority.

Ghana cannot be trading freely and living in Ecowas couuntries, whilst everyday in Ghana our citizens are humiliated and molested.

Else we return all Ghanaians to live and do business in Ghana and put an end to all this nonsense.

Nigeria government must be seen to act and do so with other Ecowas member state.

The ghanians are wrong and should be called to order now.

If you use agbero manners and aggression to challenge the legal authorities of another country, then you should be pepper-sprayed, flogged, tasered and dragged away.

Not every country is as lawless or wants to be as lawless as Nigeria.

Follow their laws and use all legal means available to you if you feel enforcers did wrong. Don't think you can use ogboju like you do in Nigeria and then turn chaos and lawlessness into normal everyday thing.

If you don't like their country and laws, go back to your shithole. They did not beg you to come.

Unless our govt is sick in the head, they need to reciprocate in kind. AFTERALL, we have some Ghanaians and Ghanian business here TOO. And some also may not be meeting requirements. If they don't want competition from Nigerians be it Yoruba or Igbos in their country then there shouldn't be ECOWAS. Fuc. k ECOWAS. Nigeria should just threaten to withdraw then you will see Ghanian president wailing to have us back. They benefit more from it than even us. But we have a weak leader.

You are just being emotional and melodramatic

I have followed the debate online

The Ghanaians always insist that they have existing laws that forbid foreign-owned small-scale business in their country.

Their argument is that they are just few in the country. So, if they allow foreigners to come in their numbers, they will dominate the space and drive their people out of business.

Why question is, Why do Nigerians still go there to start small-scale businesses when they know that they have such laws in place?

Perhaps Nigerians are just being our lawless selves, believing that with some tips everything is possible.
Bro, you can't be in Ecowas and have such a law. Ecowas is like EU, there are laws governing member countries in terms of economics, movement and trade.

This is unfortunate & condemnable. I'm seriously against this act but before we jump to unfounding accusations we need to know the fact behind this sad development of persecuting Nigerians in Ghana. It's alleged that some section of Nigerians receive similar treatment everywhere they go in Africa not because they're dominating business of their new adopted nation as perceived by some people but because of their affiliation to crime syndicate; illegal drugs business, illegal prostitution, human trafficking & cyber fraud etc.
There are more than 290, 000 Hausa merchants migrated to Ghana & now indigene of Ghana settling there for several decades doing their legal business and living in peace with Ghanaians. There are Hausa Ministers, Legislators, Politicians, educationists and many holding important positions in Ghana. Some parties started contemplating giving slots of VP to Hausa people as widely discussed in their previous election. The question is why Hausa are not part of those being harassed or persecuted in Ghana?
We need to rebrand our image in the eyes of the world and some people need to admit that their way of life is unacceptable world wide!

Most countries have an embassy in other countries. The embassy, ideally is to be a representative, advocate even a home to its citizens in the host foreign country. An ambassador is akin to the President of its citizens in the country. Fostering and managing socio-economic relations, however, this right here (the sacking of an embassy, harassment of foreign citizens) is a disgrace. The sacking of the Embassy was perhaps the beginning of a systemic Nigeria must go movement (if there is one) No one can deny the fact it is a fallout of the illiterate nature of ambassadorial appointments and staffing of Nigerian embassies worldwide. And who is to blame? The home Government, the host country and, the people who live in such foreign countries.

The home Government that appoints diplomatic nonentities who cannot even manage their own homes as ambassadors and diplomatic representatives. Such shallow individuals lacking initiative, patriotism to improve social relations just run the embassy as a hustle, connecting their cronies and lackeys leaving Nigerians in limbo and maltreatment from citizens and institutions of the host country.

The host country who is not allowed to have a say in who it wants as it's ambassador. If you re sent a troublemaker, would you harbour him in your house to invite trouble and disturb your peace. Moreso, Communication is key. If there is a flouting of regulations, what is the media for? Why not get your journalists bring it to the fore, so people can know the series of events that lead/led to such breakdown of civility.

Last, but not the least, first it was SA, then Dubai, now Ghana. If una like, make una say na this one Dem no want, make others clap back from here to Kingdom come - for their eye, una all be the same. Una think say them no know una? Naija no dey Cary last, no dey carry last!! No be for another person papa house o! All the gragra wey una do reach for Naija no mean say make una carry the anyhow enter express, under say nothing dey happen. Naija una to dey show unaself, at times the way Naija take raise us, we no fit do without hustle, however, time dey for everything. Once you hustle reach, legitimize, lay back, no do sotay you go fall under radar. Even Jesus talk am say "E no meet make una take Pickin food give Bingo" otherwise Pickin go soon dey envy come behave like Bingo. Simply put - when you re in Rome, study and act like the Romans. #My2Cents

Exactly, same way we were told that south Africans only hates igbos. During their xenophobic attack, they will first interview you whether you are igbo or yoruba to determine whether to attack.
Only for majority of the returnees begging for evacuation, eventually happened to be yoruba.
You see you yoruba people, the propaganda and hate you people love to preach against the igbos is what will consume you eventually.
That is what will make your day abi,to hear that only igbos are hated in Ghana.
Despicable tribe.

What are you even saying self , do you think I am the cause of the hate there

Pls respect yourself I am telling from the fact base on what I saw in where I stayed in Accra

I was new in the hood , and these local ghanaians liked my personality but each time I sat close to them to drink they ask me if I am ibo this and that ..

I will remind them that Nigeria is not made up of only three tribes that I am neither Igbo Yoruba or hausa , oh then they now understand , I the asked then why are they asking me this they said Igbo people have done too much bad things in Accra to them ..that what they said

So don't quote me I am not the ambassador of Nigeria to Ghana ok
